The project proposal of the Municipality of Lukovit provides for the resumption and expansion of the Center for hourly services for social inclusion in the community or in a home environment, called the Center. Main project activities implemented through the Centre include support services for older people over 65 years old in a self-service condition and people with disabilities to meet their daily needs in the home environment, improve access to healthcare and health promotion and implement local social activities for social inclusion. The Centre will also provide mobile integrated social and health services in small settlements in the municipality. A team for part-time work will be appointed to the Centre: coordinator of the Centre, domestic assistants — 18, nurse, rehabilitator, psychologist/social worker/worker and driver. A minimum of 40 users will be covered, who will receive social assessments to place the individual’s needs at the centre. In addition to an individual approach, an integrated approach will be applied for the provision of social and health services, health prevention services, social inclusion services to overcome social exclusion and lack of social contacts for people over 65 years of age and people with disabilities — providing psychological and/or social rehabilitation according to the individual needs of the individual.Users, with the help of the team, will choose the services they need most. The project also includes activities aimed at the local community to overcome negative stereotypes about people with disabilities and complements the municipal strategy for social services with the implementation of local activities for social inclusion. In these activities, through meetings on occasion and organised lectures, on the one hand, and, on the other hand, by making objects and offering them on charitable bazaars, the users of the services will feel not only the care of society towards them, but also the fact that they are also useful for society.
