The project proposal provides for the introduction of energy efficiency measures in three multi-apartment buildings on the territory of Nova Zagora. The planned activities include the implementation of energy-saving measures prescribed by the consultant and the implementation of the guidelines and recommendations set out in the technical passport in order to achieve at least the energy consumption class “C” in buildings. Better performance of the intervention buildings will significantly reduce their operating costs and contribute to the extension of their lifecycle. The project aims at implementing the following thematic objectives under the General Regulation 1303/2013: Thematic objective 4 ‘Supporting the shift towards a low-carbon economy in all sectors’. The interventions under the project proposal will contribute to achieving the indicative national energy saving targets according to the National Energy Efficiency Action Plan 2014-2020. The modernisation and reconstruction of the housing stock aims to improve the quality of life on the territory of the town of Nova Zagora. Energy renovation activities will prolong the life of buildings, reduce maintenance costs and encourage people to stay in small settlements.
