There are many people in the municipality of Pavlikeni who, due to poor health and/or age, are in partial or total inability to self-service. They have needs for day-to-day care, improved access to social and medical services and social networking. In order to meet these needs, the Municipality of Pavlikeni has developed this project aimed at improving access to basic social and health services and achieving independence and social integration of older people and people with disabilities, expanding the volume and diversity of social services provided in the community.The project envisages the upgrade of the existing Unit for hourly provision of services in the home environment (ZPUPS) to the Domestic Social Patronage (SPA), for which persons will be recruited to perform the social services “Personal Assistant”, “Social Assistant” and “House Assistant”. The ZUMP provides for employment: Organisation of activities, Technical Fellow, Medical Officer and Consultant-psychologist.Project groups are:-People with disabilities and their families;-People over 65 years old with restrictions or inability to self-service. Main project activities are:1.Project organisation and management;2.Information and publicity;3.Providing access to integrated services. 4. Training of staff to provide services.5.Providing psychological support/supervision to staff providing the services;6. Psychological support for service users according to their individual need;7. Activities for ongoing repair, furnishing and equipment. The expected results are: 1.Building existing and opening new social services2.Increasing the number of people using social services3.Improving the quality of life of adults and persons with disabilities
