“Creation of conditions for modern educational services and implementation of quality vocational education in PGAT”Tsanko Tserkovski“Pavlikeni by improving the educational infrastructure”

This project proposal focuses on creating conditions for quality vocational education by improving the educational infrastructure in PGAT Ts. Tserkovski, Pavlikeni. It provides for the implementation of the following activities: Introduction of energy-saving measures prescribed in the energy efficiency audits of the training building and workshop; Implementation of the mandatory technical measures for maintenance and provision of the site prescribed in the technical reports of the buildings; Optimisation of heating systems; Replacement of significantly outdated furniture and computer equipment. By their implementation the following results will be achieved: Improved material and technical bases of the PGAT allowing for easier integration and socialisation in society in the training process and for subsequent successful labour market realisation; Improved quality of the educational environment and learning process in the educational establishment, which facilitates the introduction of new learning methods that increase attractiveness and retain the interest of young people; Interventions will directly contribute to reducing the number of early school dropouts and will create prerequisites for increasing the share of graduates. Activities to improve the access of people with disabilities to the workshop are a prerequisite for social inclusion and combating the isolation of this group from society. The energy-saving measures implemented will achieve the following effect: optimised energy costs, accounting for BGN 134400.00 per year; achieved energy savings of 1 253 732 kWh/year; saved CO2 emissions in the order of 312 t/year.The implementation of the project will directly affect the pupils, their families and the staff of the educational institution proposed for intervention. According to predicted data through a study. 2016/17 in 12 classes will be trained 240 studies and in a separate form of training — 40 studies.
