“Patronage care for elderly and disabled people in the municipality of Pavlikeni”.

There are many people in the municipality of Pavlikeni who, due to poor health and/or age, are in partial or total inability to self-service. They have needs for day-to-day care, improved access to social and medical services and social networking. In order to meet these needs, the municipality of Pavlikeni developed this project. It aims to provide accessible, high-quality services for people with disabilities and the elderly by providing a network of services in a home environment. This project proposal will expand the volume and diversity of social services provided in the municipality of Pavlikeni, will improve the quality of life and opportunities for social inclusion for people with disabilities and the elderly, thereby protecting the public interest and responding to the needs of the population. The project envisages building a model of patronage care for the target groups in order to provide hourly mobile integrated social-health services in their homes. the services will be provided by medical professionals, psychologists, social assistants, etc. All medical professionals and persons involved in the provision of patronage care will receive training under a program developed by the Ministry of Health. For the purposes of the project, a car will be purchased to ensure the movement to the homes of users by the staff of the integrated health-social service.The project groups are:- People with disabilities and their families;- Adults over 65 years old with restrictions or inability to self-service.
