The project proposal aims to improve the quality of life and access to services for social inclusion of people with disabilities and people over 65 years old, with restrictions or inability to self-service in the municipality of Pazardzhik through functional separation of a Center to the existing Service Unit in the Home Social Patronage. It will be implemented in partnership between the Municipality of Pazardzhik and the Foundation for Crime Prevention IGA. The project will start with hiring three people to the Unit and employing 60 personal assistants. Also at the beginning of the project will be developed by the partner Program for the activity of the service. Experts of the partner will train the team of the Unit and Social Assistants — one introductory and two supporting trainings. Also, experts of the partner will perform psychological support to staff, counselling and supervision to improve its effectiveness and quality of work, psychological and motivational support to service users through their specialists. The project will cover 130 users who will be dealt with in their homes or in the Unit. Information and publicity activities are foreseen to promote the project, including: 2 press conferences for media representatives, institutions and organisations interested in the topic and project management team; 2nd publications in a local newspaper; 2 information plates; 25 pieces of information posters; 90 ad block-leaves and 100 information brochures.
