The project proposal will ensure the implementation of measures and activities aimed at renovating and improving energy efficiency in five multi-apartment buildings:1. Building on 30 Ivan Geshev Str.; 2. Building on 196 Bulgaria Blvd.; 3. Building on 45-47 Bulgaria Blvd.; 4. Building 83-91 Vasil Aprilov Blvd.; 5. Building 1, Zheravna Str. The specific choice for the allocation of the envisaged measures and activities per building is justified by clearly defined criteria. The selection of the five buildings is the result of the application of a detailed evaluation procedure, including the selection and prioritisation of the multi-apartment buildings that have applied for interest and financial assistance under Procedure BG16RFOP001-1.001-039 “Implementation of Integrated Urban Reconstruction and Development Plans 2014-2020”. All preparatory activities for evaluation and screening of the multi-apartment buildings, prior to the development of this project proposal, ensure equal treatment of the different interested and eligible owners of residential buildings in the city of Plovdiv. This ensures a rational and transparent approach when spending the indicative budget for energy efficiency of multi-apartment buildings in the city of Plovdiv. Depending on the specific prescriptions in the energy efficiency audits, in the technical audits and in the investment projects for the different buildings will be implemented:1. a set of measures for energy efficiency and optimisation of energy consumption, respectively limiting the environmental “footprint” of buildings; 2. constructive reconstruction activities. The project proposal will be a very important component of the integrated urban regeneration projects of the city of Plovdiv and will lead to improvement of the characteristics of the residential sector, the living conditions and the environmental qualities of the urban environment.
