This project is in implementation of the Municipal Plan for Roma Integration 2015-2020 and is related to the main strategic objectives of the state policies towards marginalised groups — improving the standard of living through their inclusion in the labour market, measures enhancing health culture, inclusive education, overcoming their isolation through active social behavior and demonstration of tolerance by civil society, thus directly corresponding to the priorities of OPHRD and OPSESG. The activities foreseen under OPHRD are:- strand I. “Improving access to employment” — strand II. Improving access to education — Strand III. “Improving access to social and health services” and — IV strand “Development of local communities and overcoming negative stereotypes” The activities foreseen under OPSESG are:- additional training in Bulgarian language for children for whom the Bulgarian language is not their mother tongue — providing psychological support for children in two kindergartens — encouraging the participation of parents in the educational process — working with parents regardless of their ethnic origin to explain the benefits of educational integration and acceptance of diversity — overcoming negative public attitudes based on ethnic origin and cultural identity.The project is aligned with the main vision in Radomir municipality’s policy to improve the living environment and increase its quality in its civil society.
