The implementation of the project proposal will ensure the provision of new services in the community on the territory of Haskovo, for which the appropriate infrastructure has been built with funds from OPRG 2014-2020. The following new social services are planned to be opened: New DTCU and their families (with a capacity of 30 children for day care and 60 for counselling), where the children will receive specialised support from development and social inclusion specialists. (with a capacity of 8 children). By providing the social service, children and young people will be prepared to tackle social exclusion and protect the interests of each child. Within the project will be provided supplies for which no funds have been reached under OPRD. This development will contribute to the achievement of the main objective of the National Strategy “Vision for the Deinstitutionalisation of Children in the Republic of Bulgaria”, namely “Ensuring the right of children to a family environment and access to quality care and services according to their individual needs”. The project objectives are in line with the objectives set out in Priority Axis 2 “Reducing poverty and promoting social inclusion”, and in particular with IP No 3 “Reducing the number of children and young people accommodated in institutions through the provision of social and health services in the community”. With the implementation of the project will ensure quality provision of the new social and integrated health services — social services, which will contribute to the implementation of the objectives and priorities of the procedure, namely: Implementation of models for quality alternative care for children and young people accommodated in DSDLG, MSFD, including children with disabilities, guaranteeing them a family life and equal access to services; Creating and providing social and integrated community-based health-social services based on the needs of all users.
