The project proposal contains a system of complex activities aimed at achieving a lasting improvement in the economic, social and demographic conditions of the city by providing shelter and normal living conditions to marginalised population groups and other disadvantaged groups who cannot afford their own home or rented home at market prices and which in fact have no other alternative. The project envisages the implementation of measures for the construction of modern social housing for the accommodation of vulnerable and disadvantaged groups of the population, the development of the surrounding area, the creation of accessible architectural environment, furnishing and equipment of the premises. Social infrastructure consists of three four-storey buildings with 16 apartments (48 apartments in total). Social housing will be distinguished from the general municipal housing stock, and the determination of the rent will be based on the principle of providing access to housing for those most in need, which will allow, in addition to the actual use of housing, as well as meeting the necessary household needs of its users. Measures to provide social housing for marginalised groups, including Roma, will be combined with other types of interventions, including those in the fields of education, health, social inclusion and employment, leading in itself to an integrated approach. The main activities set for the successful implementation of the project are: — Organisation, management and internal monitoring to achieve the objectives set out in the project; Construction and installation works and construction of accessible architectural environment; Delivery and furnishing; — Supervision of the sites pending the receipt of a certificate of commissioning; Publicity and communication of the project in order to inform the general public about the financial contribution of the ERDF;- Independent financial audit of the costs incurred by the project activities.
