“We are important too!”Professional development of institutions for children with severe and multiple disabilities and of the traveling special education network in Southern Baranya

The project is implemented in the districts of Mohácsi, Bólyi and Siklósi districts in Baranya County. The project is hosted by the Mohács School District Centre, which is maintained by an institution whose students and educators can receive funding according to the project call: Pursuant to Section 7(f) of Act CXC of 2011: the Meixner Ildikó Uniform Medical Pedagogy Methodology Institute, Nursery School, Primary School, Vocational School and College (7700 Mohács, Hospital Street 1-3). Meixner EGYMI serves students with severe and multiple disabilities in three places of work and provides special pedagogical care in the area of care (Mohács, Bóly, Siklós districts) organised from the headquarters institution. Long-term objective of the project: ensuring access to inclusive, equitable and quality education and education for pupils with special educational needs, reducing educational inequalities in southern Baranya, in the area of operation of the Mohács Tank District Centre. Short-term objective of the project: • Professional development of the Ildikó Meixner Ildikó EGYMI unit that cares for children with severe and multiple disabilities, • Strengthening the competences of families with severe and cumulatively disabled children. • Promoting the social acceptance of people with disabilities. • Professional development of the Meixner Ildikó EGYMI traveler’s special pedagogue network. Target groups of the project: • severely and cumulatively disabled children, pupils provided by a single special-educational methodological institution, SNI pupils provided within the special pedagogical network travelling by a single specialised pedagogical institution • educators employed by the single special pedagogical methodological institution who are involved in the education and education of children with severe and multiple disabilities, pupils employed by the single specialty pedagogical methodological institution helpers of pedagogical work employed by a single specialised pedagogical methodological institution, who participate in the care of severely and cumulatively disabled children and pupils The indirect target group of the project is the single pediatric pedagogical methodological institution who is employed by the pedagogy educators who are employed by the single pedagogical methodological institution and participates in the care of severely and multiplely disabled children and pupils. • children and pupils of the kindergarten, primary school, pupils of the single special pedagogical institution • parents, carers and carers of children with severe and multiple disabilities, parents and carers of SNI pupils involved in traveling special education services The activities planned in the project are: Sub-area 1: The professional development of institutions for children with severe and multiple disabilities A.
