Our project aims to help develop the language skills of participating secondary school pupils by providing non-formal language learning opportunities, but expects to achieve this with an integrated approach, i.e. the improvement of all possible variables. In addition to the preparation and implementation of the professions, ELTE intends to put a great emphasis in the programme on the expansion of the toolkit of secondary school language teachers. This is planned on a number of topics (the proposed topics will be discussed at the appropriate point below), but we all share that the approach is based on experience pedagogy. We believe that this is the starting point, together with the proper management of individual differences, which can spectacularly and effectively improve the knowledge, motivation and attitude of language learners. Our goal is to help language learners on the way to self-sufficient language learning: to know and love to learn a foreign language and to use the acquired useful language skills properly. Language teachers should become even more prepared in this field, and we designed the project’s further training system to facilitate this. The criteria to ensure a pedagogy of experience are: 1) cognitive, emotional and action-based learning based on all senses, 2) learning transfer and reflection; 3) nature and ecology; 4) authenticity; 5) Challenge nature (adventure); 6) team;- cooperation,- communication; 7) Volunteering, responsibility, independent decision. Below is a brief summary of the numerical points most relevant to the proposal. • the 10 institutions participating in the partnership are located in 9 districts, • 50 % of them are beneficiary districts, • more than half of the institutions have a higher share of HH and HHH pupils than the national average in the 2015/2016 (last closed) public education statistics data collection, • the number of pupils to be involved in foreign language occupations is planned to be higher than the indicator published, • the number of secondary school teachers involved in the programme will be much higher than the stated indicator, because in seven institutions we will deal with more than two languages, • teaching foreign languages less taught in the project will also play an important role: in six schools (in addition to English and German), French and three Italian were requested.
