T.E.S.I. — 2.0 — Interventions for quality (inclusive) physical education education and training

The main objective of the project is to continuously develop everyday physical education in schools based on quality based on the regulatory, content and technical methodological renewal of the field of public education, by preparing experts and service providers to support and monitor quality physical education, and by renewing the training and qualifications giving access to physical education throughout Hungary. The project will contribute to supporting the development of key competences of learners, in particular social competences, including knowledge, skills, skills, attitudes, autonomy and responsibility elements related to a healthy lifestyle, in line with the spirit of lifelong learning. The aim is to ensure that students currently studying in the school system have a health-conscious, future-oriented lifestyle competence, and that the need for regular physical activity and sport for as many learners as possible should be integrated into the behaviour of as many students as possible. Milestones of the priority project are milestone 1: Development of the educational framework for quality physical education • Identification of qualification levels entitling to teach physical education in schools, defining the related qualification and output requirements based on the Hungarian Qualifications Framework (MKKR); • Formulate recommendations on the components and content of health-conscious, future-oriented life as a potential key competence area; • Establish a monitoring system to support the implementation of the content of quality physical education. Milestone 2: Developing the conditions for quality physical education in the public education system • Contribution in revising the area of development of Nat physical and mental health education and the cultural area of physical education and sport and aligning it with the educational framework for quality physical education and with the MKKR; • Contribute to the revision of the framework curricula in line with the revision of the Nat Physical Education and Sport Culture Area; • Implementing methodological developments related to NAT and framework curricula: development of (e) specialists, educational resources; • Develop a test system on the NETFIT® base to measure the health-oriented physical fitness of pupils who are prevented from learning or with disabilities; • Develop a measurement and feedback system in school physical education to monitor the non-physical fitness components of learning outcomes related to physical education Sub-objective 3: Developing the conditions for quality physical education in the field of public education services • Support of professionals in the field of physical education and sport literacy-specific online in the field of public education services; • Accreditation of physical education and sport training programmes in the field of education; • Conducting accredited teacher training for the continuous professional development of teachers and physical education teachers; • Broadening the scope of the exploitation of NETFIT® results • Professional support for the maintenance of subjects, pedagogical-professional control and pedagogical certification according to the criteria of quality physical education; • Contribute to the development of the tools and methods of certain pedagogical-professional services in the field-specific field-specific development, in particular in the preparation of specialist counsellors to support quality physical education; • Contribute to the preparation of public education experts for the proper monitoring and evaluation of the aspects of quality physical education of the teachers concerned, the heads of institutions and the institutions. Milestone 4: Developing the conditions for quality physical education in the field of training and qualifications • Develop a uniform set of criteria for continuous, peer-to-peer development and monitoring of the educator competences of the candidates concerned, from entering the training to the completion of the training (pilot); • Develop a set of criteria to ensure the orientation of quality educators’ candidates on the educator’s career in order to improve the system of qualification testing of pedagogical training entitling physical education and sport to education in the field (pilot); • Formulate recommendations on the basis of pilots for the review of JRCs for teacher and teacher training. The target groups of the project are practitioners authorised to teach physical education in schools as well as to lead school sports, in particular teachers (teachers, physical education teachers, health development teachers), public education institutions and funding and organisational aspects.
