This project is implemented in implementation of Art. 6 of Regulation 1304/2013 and is a joint action of the social partners (trade unions and employers’ organisations). This proposal is developed entirely within the scope of the objective “improvement of social audit, social dialogue, improvement of working conditions and collective bargaining”. The project responds to the challenges of the labour market caused by the development of economic processes and directly contributes to increasing the skills and adaptability of the workforce, reflecting also the specific needs of target groups. The project has a national scope and addresses the problems of adaptability, flexibility and security of the employed in terms of needs and commitments in the field of collective bargaining, which contributes to flexibility and security in the implementation of policies that work simultaneously in modern labour markets, for improved labour organisation and relations and to the modernisation of social security and employment security. In shaping the national policy in this field, the CITUB actively supports the achievement of flexicurity, which in this project is characterised by the involvement of the social partners, as well as by taking into account specific national circumstances and needs in the planning of specific, joint activities and proposals of the social partners. Joint implementation by the project partners (CNSB, KRIB, BIA and AICB) of consultations on economic, social, environmental, labour law and other issues and development of the scope and thematic content of collective agreements is a guarantee for the practical applicability of the results among employers. The participation of the largest representative employers‘and employees’ organisations in a common project is also a guarantee of the sustainability of results and a high multiplier effect of the results achieved.
