Development of human capacities in Mohács district

The aid application entitled ‘Improvement of Human Capacity in the District of Homóvár’ is referred to in Article 290/2014. (XI. 26) is carried out in a consortium of 8 municipalities and two associations of municipalities involved in Mohácsi district, which is the beneficiary under Government Decree No 287/2015. Municipalities involved (room directory 01.01.2016): Mohács 17.355 people, Dunaszekcső 1883 people, Kölked 1032 people, Lánycsók 2397 people, Lippó 473 people, Majs 932, Nagynyrád 865, Somberek 1341 people with a total population of 26.122 people. ARTICLE 105/2015 (IV. 23) according to Government Decree No 23/2015, Kölked is a municipality benefiting from social economic and infrastructure aspects, while Dunaszekcső is a temporary beneficiary. The members of the consortium are mainly involved in the implementation of the project with kindergarten institutions, institutions providing education and cultural programmes for schoolchildren in the municipality and with officials. The family support service providing basic human services and the institution providing day care for the elderly are concerned. The main objective of the project is to reduce territorial disparities and, in particular, the social disadvantages resulting from the size of the settlement by means of a complex approach in terms of human public services based on local needs, and to improve access to quality public services, especially in the areas of public education, higher education and informal and non-formal learning provided by adult education, in order to increase local knowledge capital. The Consortium has set the following milestones in the project: Training, further training and exchange of experience of professionals working in basic human public services maintained by municipalities in order to increase access to quality services, especially with regard to ensuring access for disadvantaged people. Implement out-of-school programmes to help children/students develop personalities and competences, reach out of school and the labour market, and support local initiatives with special attention to the involvement of disadvantaged children/students. Ensuring access to public education/higher education for disadvantaged children/students. Complex kindergarten service development, especially with regard to ensuring access to pre-school education for disadvantaged children. The project consists of the following elements: In accordance with the objectives listed above, all the activities of the Call will be implemented under the project. In addition, for optional activities, equipment acquisition, skills development for children/students, support for participation in out-of-school activities, training of teachers to reflect individual needs will also take place.
