The project is located in Baranya County, Siklós district and Villány city. One of the micro-regional centers of the region is Villány. The catchment area of the institution is directed to the districts of Siklósi and Bólyi. The Integrated Educational System (IPR) and the inclusive education of SNI pupils were introduced in 2009 to help learners from disadvantaged backgrounds catch up. Both HH and SNI students are studying at both sites, the institution is host and co-education has been successfully carried out for several years. An important objective is to provide local companies with a well-trained, language-speaking, mentally and physically healthy workforce, thus the population retention capacity of the region is expected to grow. The main profile of the municipality’s economy is the winery and the forms of activity inherent in it. The development of the winery has been unbroken and nationally important since the change of regime. More and more people choose the institution from the surrounding small settlements as a school in the centre of the region, which means both sites where the education of their children is considered to be safer than in the nearest small settlement school, where the number of pupils is usually below 100. The Villány school also operates as a micro-regional educational centre. On the premises of the Villány school, modern development will be achieved, creating the conditions for quality education, it is expected that the process already started will intensify and the parents will enroll an increasing number of children in the institution developed by the project from 10-15 km distance. The building complex can physically accommodate even pupils from the catchment area, increasing occupancy. However, there is a lack of a room where our larger groups could be given a permanent place within the framework of talent management, e.g. a minority German dance group, project lessons in the subject of ethnic German folklore, and chamber music lessons of a music art class. Currently, they use the municipal buildings in the municipality to maintain the professions. The German minority language is taught on a language level based on the needs of parents in small group education. Despite the decrease in the number of children, there is an increase in the number of people with special educational needs and disadvantaged pupils. The Villány Primary School and Primary Art School in its current state are unable to fulfil the central role of micro-regions, it cannot accept all those belonging to its catchment area, but its central role in the region is indisputable. The institution currently has a gym with an area of 625 m² and 275 m² in a separate building, where crowding is inevitable. Our students can take part in physical education classes in the gym from 3 rd grade. The hall, built in 1978, has undergone several small renovations, but to this day it does not have a uniform picture. In the event of bad weather, this building provides room for major events in school life, as there is no place for the school to accommodate approximately the current number of school pupils. Its condition does not correspond to modern public education needs and specifics. The gym most used by seniors is dangerous for accidents. Both its condition and its size do not make it possible to carry out the tasks of everyday physical education. The gym in its current state cannot be separated, which would already be a partial solution to the problem. A gym near the central building could be assembled and weather conditions would not affect the approach. As a result of the whole day of schooling, there was a lack of an art-education room where the school community would be able to maintain extracurricular activities: for art education, the extension would be used as a rehearsal room for folk dance groups, as well as as a chamber room. The experience of surveys at the beginning of the academic years shows a significant need for parents, learners and teachers in this regard. It is increasingly common for us to relinquish legitimate claims in the absence of a suitable location. Within the framework of our project, both sites (Baross G. 1-3, topographical number szám:26/2.;Rákóczi F. u. 11-13: 801.)we planned investments and improvements. The two locations are 230 metres apart. Accordingly, two locations and four buildings are affected by the planned development. For educational buildings A and B, the concept is aimed at upgrading sufficient space stock, setting up specialised classrooms, adding a room corresponding to an art teaching function and additional space. Due to the limited size and degraded texture of the existing gym, it is justified to dismantle it and to build a type A gym directly linked to the educational building. By connecting the two parts of the building, a common, barrier-free entrance can be achieved.
