Infrastructural development of learning spaces at Beled Primary School

The objective of this project of Beledi Primary School is to provide public education infrastructure that meets the requirements of the 21st century. The infrastructure improvements to be carried out under the project will enhance the effectiveness of the institution and ensure the conditions for equitable and inclusive education, while at the same time improving the quality of the services provided by the school. The institution involved in the development plays a central role in the micro-region. The towns of Dénesfa, Edve, Gyóró, Rábakecöl, Répceszemere and Vásárosfalu are located in its educational district. The educational institution operates in two buildings, with two separate topographic numbers, about 300 metres apart. The lower section building was built in 1929, since then there has been no renovation or modernisation, only the renovation of the roof structure and the replacement of doors and windows have been carried out. The interior has not been modernised so far. The upper class building was built in 1981, and since then there has been only a partial replacement of doors and windows. The flat roofed building is soaked in every rainy period. The original tram network is not suitable for the smooth operation of the current IT equipment. In the immediate vicinity of the school, a gymnastic hall was built in 1987, and a bituminous handball, basketball and runway was built in the courtyard. Planned developments in the lower-grade building — Polishing and refurbishing the several decades of parquet is no longer possible, in any case its replacement is justified. There are still the original cement tiles in the corridors, which are now heavily worn out, and their replacement is also justified. Painting of radiators. — Washbasins and faucets in classrooms and corridors are also very old, instead of replacing the continuously worn parts, it is necessary to replace them and to renovate the plumbing system, which is over 40 years old. — It is quite unique that the teacher’s room was located in a separate building, next to the students’ toilets, because due to the number of classrooms it was not possible to build it in the main building. The state of the teacher’s room is bad, repair of plaster, painting, replacement of parquet and doors and windows is necessary. — The project involves painting all classrooms, corridors and teaching rooms. Planned developments in the upper-grade building — It mainly includes roof modernisation (repair of flooding and slab faults) to be carried out in order to create the right level of education and education and the modernisation and extension of the electricity network. — Modernisation of the language lab’s tools for increasing language competence, which would also function as a level of individual and small group development. — Planned development is the renovation and modernisation of a sports yard that enhances pupils’ stamina and contributes to the implementation of everyday physical education. As soon as the weather allows, it would provide students with fresh air, outdoor classes, afternoon sports and leisure activities. As part of the project, we plan to renovate the handball track and the runway. — Modernisation and refurbishment of the 36-year-old sanitary facilities. — Painting and upgrading of radiators by installing thermostats. — Modernisation of the electricity network, development of a low-current network to make ICT tools operational. — The doors and windows were only partially replaced, so we plan a partial replacement of doors and windows on the DK side of the building. — The project involves painting all classrooms, corridors and teaching rooms. — Modernisation of interior furniture is timely, the door of built-in cabinets in the hallway is in very poor condition. It also has a negative impact on children’s aesthetic sense. These old, outdated environmental factors do not motivate children, which is why it is important to implement the above planned improvements that will make our institution more attractive. It is also important for parents to increase their knowledge in a beautiful, aesthetic environment. The disadvantage of our pupils compared to students in other schools would be reduced, and equal opportunities would be better achieved. There are many years of tradition to choose between two foreign languages, German and English. School language teaching is now available from the first class. With a knowledge of the foreign language, the school also aims to ensure more successful secondary education and career guidance. Comprehension skills, including listening, and communication in a foreign language are important. The need for knowledge of foreign languages is demonstrated by the introduction of a foreign language competence measurement and therefore it is important that students are able to prepare for the measurement. The development of a modern language lab equipped with ICT tools is essential for the realisation of quality language te...
