The project provides for overhaul/reconstruction, implementation of energy efficiency measures and renovation of the material and technical facilities of 3 schools included in the Investment Priority “Educational Infrastructure” of Sofia Municipality’s IHLG, one of them falling within the area of predominant social character, on the territory of Krasna Polyana district and 2 sites in the Area of Public Functions of High Public Importance in the Serdika and Oborishte districts. The distribution of intervention sites by region shall be as follows: — area “Krasna Polyana” — 28 Sofia University “Aleko Konstantinov”; — Serdika district — 48 0U “Yosif Kovachev”; — Oborishte district — I Sofia University “Pencho Slaveykov”. The renewed infrastructure and facilities of schools will contribute to the better quality of the educational and educational process. The implementation of the project will ensure a level playing field and access to education for all children from the targeted capital areas, maximising the reach of children and pupils and non-discrimination.
