The project proposal provides for the renovation of areas and characteristic elements in the Borisova Garden Park — part of a reserve of garden-park art, proclaimed by order of the Council of Ministers No 19 of 8 December 1988, State Gazette No 96 of 1988. It includes the execution of construction and installation works for the renovation of areas and characteristic elements of the park “Borisova Garden — Historic part”, namely: Stage I “Renewal of alley network and park elements”:- Renovation of the alley network; — Repair and expansion of park lighting on the remaining unlit alleys, including construction of cable network, shafts and installation of new poles with luminaires;- Reconstruction of plumbing networks;- Construction of video surveillance in the uncovered parts of the park — installation of new cameras and renewal of existing video surveillance with modern equipment. — Restoration of landmark places in the park: the lake with lilies and the space around it, the lake with ducks, the rockery with the water area; a number of park elements — fountains, sculpture decorations and figures in their authentic form: the fountain with bear and penguins, the fountain with the monkey, the figure of a girl, the plastic of Orpheus at the summer estrade, the sculptural decoration — cranes on the island in the lake with waterfowl, the spouts shaped as lion heads in the water area behind the Brothers mound, the goat at the playground. The implementation of the sculpture figures themselves is separated, outside the scope of the project proposal (in stage III) and will be financed from the municipal budget. — Renovation of park furniture — benches, waste bins, signposts, gazebos and pergolas.- Preparatory, restoration and landscaping activities, including reconstruction of grass massifs, introduction of humus and enriched soil substrate, planting of shrubs and trees. Stage II provides for the reconstruction of the existing public toilet at the Summer Reading Room and includes the restoration of the existing building of the toilet while preserving its volume and space parameters.
