The main objective of the project proposal is to improve through joint actions of social partners the opportunities to use new systems providing access to employment based on work-based learning (apprenticeships) in enterprises, with a focus on craft enterprises. On 15 March 2018, the Council of the EU adopted a Recommendation on a European Framework for Quality and Effective Apprenticeships. The Recommendation encourages the formation of highly skilled workers with appropriate skills that match the needs of the labour market. By applying common criteria for quality and effective apprenticeships, Member States will be better able to develop and promote their national apprenticeship schemes. The recommendation focuses on the need to involve social partners in the design, management and implementation of apprenticeship schemes. The project groups are employees (employee and self-employed) and employers (craft enterprises). The project proposal includes the implementation of 6 interconnected activities:1.Analysis of apprenticeship legislation and policies2.Preparation of the format and requirements for the development of apprenticeship training programmes3.Development of apprenticeship training programmes3.Development of apprenticeships programmes4.Development of methodological guidance for masters and trainers from micro and small enterprises to carry out apprenticeship training5.The design of apprenticeships is implemented in the course of the implementation of the project.
