This project proposal aims at expanding the opportunities of the academic community and creating real conditions for adapting experience and competences, building additional physical space and flexible infrastructure that is fully tailored to the needs of the educational process in the priority areas. The project combines the functions of an academic centre for collective learning and science, with access to quality scientific literature and electronic resources with remote access, with the potential for developing distance learning. AIC is tailored to the educational needs of the young generation and their active participation in academic life, with a focus on the possibility of co-organising the learning process and interactive learning, as well as for establishing a dynamic relationship between students, teachers and administration. The developed project includes the creation of an additional physical space of 4460.90 sq.m. with four above ground floors: Information block with automated reference points and exhibition area; copy centre and digitalisation; seminar hall; catalogues, textbooks and periodicals; open Access Fund and Self-Preparation Places; loan service; Information block with computer room, lobby recreation; self-preparation places; 4 offices; reading room for group learning and work; seminar room; rooms for self-employment and learning. Laboratory with physicochemical room, premises for molecular biology and cell cultures, for viral diagnostics. The establishment of IIC will strengthen and develop the positions of TU in the priority areas — Veterinary Medicine, Animal Breeding and Healthcare, and will allow for development of the other directions — medicine, agricultural science, economics, technology and technology, pedagogy, which will complement the competences of young people and adequately meet the requirements and dynamics of the labour market.
