The project proposal provides for the construction of a new school body, which will be part of the overall school complex of the University of National and World Economy — Sofia. The planned activities foresee the design and construction of a 5-storey building with 14 study rooms. The building will be located in the eastern part of the training complex of the UNWE, with a developed warm connection to connect the new body to the 3 west campus. On the first floor there will be two test centers, each of which will have 280 equipped workplaces for work with computers 9 and 4 administrative places and registries. On the second floor is provided a warm connection with the existing building, 3 training halls, 4 cabinets for teachers, sanitary facilities for men and people from disadvantaged backgrounds. On the third, fourth and fifth floors, which are typical are provided by 3 study halls, 4 cabinets for teachers, sanitary facilities for men, women and disadvantaged people. The project aims at implementing the following thematic objectives under the General Regulation 1303/2013: Thematic objective 10 “Investment in education, training, including vocational training for skills and lifelong learning”. The interventions within the project proposal will contribute to the achievement of the indicative national energy saving targets for 2020 in accordance with the National Energy Efficiency Action Plan 2014-2020. The support aims at improving the educational infrastructure and environment at the UNWE, providing qualifications and skills to students at the university, meeting the needs of the labour market and providing an accessible environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
