This project proposal is prepared in accordance with the main objectives and principles set out in OPSESG and in particular in accordance with the objectives of investment priority No 10ii: “Improving quality and efficiency and access to tertiary and equivalent education to increase participation and improve levels of education, especially for disadvantaged groups” Specific Objective 4 of the IP10ii: “Upskilling of the research staff and participation of young PhD students in research”The main activities through which the centre will provide support are the development of a training programme “Key Competences for a Successful Academic and Research Career”; Conducting group trainings for all representatives of the target group in a series of seminars of the programme “Key Competences for a Successful Academic and Research Career”; Practical training for all target group representatives in the “Experimental Science” course; Supporting representatives of the target group under individual career development plan; Establishing and maintaining contacts with scientific research and business organisations in the field of medicine and the health system as an enabling environment for successful professional realisation of the target group in an academic or research career; Promoting the target group to employers and partners in future joint projects in order to support their professional realisation, as well as to disseminate their scientific results.
