FIs under PO2 aim to provide funding for eligible and financially viable investments in the waste sector, as support through FIs under PO2 will be provided for: • Design and construction of re-use centres, repair and preparation for re-use, including the provision of facilities and equipment for the purposes of the activity • Other financially viable projects, in line with the objectives of OP2 of OPE 2014-2020, eligible actions and eligible final recipients included in the current version of OPE 2014-2020 and the ex-ante assessment for FIs under OPE 2014-2020 and its subsequent update, including the following activities:-PIs of sites and installations for pretreatment of household waste -Provision of the necessary equipment and facilities, as well as equipment for separate collection of biodegraded and green waste — PIs of anaerobic and/or composting installations for separately collected biodegradation and/or green waste — Pilot projects for design and introduction innovative technologies for separate collection of household waste — Pilot projects for the design and construction of installations for the recycling of separately collected waste other than biodegradation, including the provision of the necessary equipment and facilities and equipment for separate collection of ancillary infrastructure to the installations described above (e.g. electricity supply, road, water supply), which serves only the construction sites, etc. related to the implementation of demonstration projects for the collection, synthesis, dissemination and implementation of new, non-traditional successful measures, good practices and/or management approaches in the field of waste management, as well as the introduction of new technologies and the organisation of information campaigns aimed at preventing waste and forming a zero waste society. —PIs of waste re-use centres, including the supply of facilities and equipment.
