Production and use in intensive fish farms of preventive feed supplements based on immunostimulating strains of microalgae that have not been used to date

1. The main tasks set for the project Work Package 1. Selection of microalgae strains relevant for feeding purposes Task 1.1 Selection of algae strains depending on bioactive components involved in the prevention of fish diseases. HAKI Tasks: Outcome of a review of the literature on substances used for the prevention of fish diseases: Collection of knowledge about naturally occurring immunostimulators, their bioactive components. 1.3 and 2.2 (database) Task 1.2 Testing components in premixes and special feeds leading to: HAKI (in cooperation with BZN) Tasks: Examine commercially available vitamin premixes and special foods, where we determine the content of ß carotene, lutein, vitamins C and E, ß 1-3-glucan, phycobiliprotein, eicosapentaenoic acid, docosahexaenoic acid, astaxanthin. In addition to the determination of the active substance, detection methods and source algae strains are also organised, as well as the measurement, isolation and culture conditions in the database under construction. Analytical test result of marketed fish feed premixes and special fish feeds. 1.3 and 2.2 (database) Task 1.3 Selection of algae strains according to known parameters leading to: Tasks: Main selection parameters: inner content, breeding protocols (sizability testing). Molecular characterisation is done in Task 1.6. The results of this exercise will be used. The results and data of the task complement the database to be created. result of: The results of selected strains of algae that can be included in the experiments should be included in továbbvitele:Feladat 1.4, 1.5, 2.2 Limnology institute. Task 1.4 Examination of the functioning of the photosynthetic apparatus. Examination of the reactions of the organism (algae) in order to optimise the growing conditions leading to: Tasks: In particular, we look at: • photosynthetic parameters: optimal upbringing conditions • pigment and lipid composition tests • lipid membranes fatty acid composition, testing of rigidity • SANA measurements • SZBK: result of volume-grown strains: A guided selection protocol for algae strains and related educational material; Species characterisation of new isolates, continuation of results: Task 1.5; 2.2 Task 1.5 Optimising and defining optimal growing conditions for algae strains: Result of BZN: Crop technology core selection protocol, platform creation Tasks: • examination of the parameters of the optimal growing medium, solving measures to increase the size • Optimisation of nutrients • Determination of N-P-K requirements during size increase — definition of economically applicable nutrients • continuation of the results of large-scale, closed-system experiments: 1.4 Task 1.6 Selected strains of algae selection protocol lead: Result of BZN: Summary of characterisation data for the stock of algae relevant for disease prevention and definition of intellectual products Tasks: 1. Definition of the guiding protocol for the selection of algae strains. whole cell algae biomass; algae biomass fraction (ii) determination of production criteria: small amounts of recommended algae strains in large quantities; propose breeding techniques (closed,) 2. Continuation of the results of the algae stock culture (deposit) specifically intended for fish feeding: Task 1.3,2.2 Work Package 4; Work Package 5 Work Package 2 Base and applied research methods supporting cultivation technology. Task 2.1 Microbiological quality assurance is leading in algal cultivation technology: Result of BZN: Development of a DNA-based quality assurance system Task: Method validation on laboratory and real samples, Result: DNA based determination method, which includes the sample preparation and measurement method. Moving forward: Work package 2.2 Task 2.2 Establishment of an Alga bioinformatics database: Result of: pooling of research bases and applied research results to detect the needs of researchers and the market, accessible and searched during the project. Data Mining Activities Continuous Tasks: BioDjinn Knowledge Management Software and Taxonomy Modification with Program Design Mathematicians for algae database data input, training of data curators for text mining of specified algae literature and patents. follow-up of its results: Task 2.3, after project completion Task 2.3 Description of cultivation parameters of mixed algae culture lead: Result of BZN: Solution of co-education of known algae isolates in laboratory conditions: Tasks: examination of the joint propagation of strains with different intrinsic values, with a dual purpose: a) test for the stability of monoculture culture b) today
