Kisfaludy2030 Tourism Development Nonprofit Zrt. was established as a result of Government Decision 1861/2016 (XII.27) in the foundation of the Hungarian National Asset Management Zrt., initially in order to effectively implement the development of the Balaton priority tourist development area. It is owned by the Hungarian National Asset Management Company as the sole shareholder, and the ownership rights are exercised by the Hungarian Tourism Agency Zrt. The Company does not have a completed project established in 2017. Its professional background is provided by the Hungarian Tourism Agency Zrt. The strategic goal of the development projects of Kisfaludy2030 NZrt. is to strengthen the income-generating capacity of tourism in Hungary, to extend the stay of tourists travelling from abroad, to increase their spending, to increase the current level of domestic tourist consumption, while at the same time trying to improve its tourist values and revenues by reducing seasonality. As responsible for the implementation of future development projects, the Company is responsible for the tasks of the consortium’s professional management, with special emphasis in its work is the marketing activity with a uniform approach, the coordination of the communication tasks of the consortium, the creation of a uniform image to be developed in the project, and the professional support of the development and maintenance of networking. Consortium members participating in the project: Hungarian Tourism Agency Zrt., Tourism Marketing Communication Agency Nonprofit Zrt., Hungarian Tourism Association Foundation, Municipality of Békéscsaba Municipality, Gyula Tourism Nonprofit Ltd. On the basis of the concluded consortium agreement, the Company performs the tasks related to the execution of public procurement activities, the preparation of the strategic documents, the tasks related to product development, as well as the professional management of project management tasks, and is also responsible for the implementation of the Infocommunication Developments related to the marketing activity, in addition to the professional support of MTÜ as a consortium partner. The exact tasks of the MTÜ are set out in the agreement concluded with the consortium partners, the performance of which is covered by the project management activity in the case of this application. The task of the Tourism Marketing Communications Agency in the present project is to implement the tasks related to marketing and to align them with the national communication tasks, in particular with regard to the domestic and international assessment of the visibility and brand position of destinations, the domestic marketing, public relations and communication activities, as well as the preparation of brand strategy and image design based on destination development and positioning and competitiveness strategies. The task of the Hungarian Tourism Association in this project is to implement project elements related to the topic of awareness-raising: organising and conducting trainings related to the quality assurance system, the introduction of the regional brand, professional presentations, information sessions, online marketing trainings, workshops for the individuals involved in the region. The Municipality of Békéscsaba, according to its role in the consortium, participates in the development of tourism offers in the involvement of local products and traditional gastronomy. Gyulai Tourism Nonprofit Ltd., according to its role in the consortium, participates in the preparation of regional thematic package offers, programme packages, the establishment of guaranteed regional programmes, the provision and procurement of the necessary equipment for its operation, and the preparatory tasks for the development of a tourist card. The project provides an opportunity to widen the profile of the Gyula-Békéscsaba tourist area, to create a regional identity and to position the area typically sold in separate locations as a single destination. Another opportunity within the framework of the tender is the creation of the single Gyula and its region brand and image and the related targeted marketing activities, which will help to renew the entire information and communication system, which makes the destination identifiable both on the domestic and international markets, and provides a lasting and real promise of experience for both the returning guests and the new target markets. Overall, for the sustainable development of tourism in the Gyula-Békéscsaba tourist area, for the maintenance and strengthening of the region’s revenue-generating capacity, it is essential to increase the competitiveness of the region, the basis of which is the activities defined in the operational development objectives of the project and the achievement of which is an essential condition of the long-term and strategic goals.
