Kisfaludy2030 Tourism Development Nonprofit Zrt. was established as a result of Government Decision 1861/2016 (XII.27) in the foundation of the Hungarian National Asset Management Zrt., initially in order to effectively implement the development of the Balaton priority tourist development area. It is owned by the Hungarian National Asset Management Company as the sole shareholder, and the ownership rights are exercised by the Hungarian Tourism Agency Zrt. The Company does not have a completed project established in 2017. Its professional background is provided by the Hungarian Tourism Agency Zrt. The strategic goal of the development projects of Kisfaludy2030 NZrt. is to strengthen the income-generating capacity of tourism in Hungary, to extend the stay of tourists travelling from abroad, to increase their spending, to increase the current level of domestic tourist consumption, while at the same time trying to improve its tourist values and revenues by reducing seasonality. As responsible for the implementation of future development projects, the Company is responsible for the tasks of the consortium’s professional management, with special emphasis in its work is the marketing activity with a uniform approach, the coordination of the communication tasks of the consortium, the creation of a uniform image to be developed in the project, and the professional support of the development and maintenance of networking. Consortium members participating in the project: Hungarian Tourism Agency Zrt., Tourism Marketing Communication Agency Nonprofit Zrt., Hungarian Tourism Association Foundation, Bük, Bükfürdő Public Benefit Tourism Association, Sopron-Fertő Tourism Development Nonprofit Zrt. On the basis of the concluded consortium contract, the Company performs tasks related to the execution of public procurement activities, the preparation of strategic documents, the tasks related to product development and the professional management of project management tasks, besides the professional support of MTÜ as a consortium pertner during the implementation process. The exact tasks of the MTÜ cover the project management activity. The task of the TMÜ in the present project is to carry out the tasks related to marketing, align them with national communication tasks, prepare the domestic marketing, public relations and communication activities, as well as the brand strategy and image plan based on destination development and positioning and competitiveness strategies. The task of the Hungarian Tourism Association Foundation in this project is to implement project elements related to the topic of awareness-raising: organising and conducting trainings related to the quality assurance system, professional presentations, information sessions, online marketing trainings and workshops related to the introduction of the regional brand, product development and online marketing trainings for the individuals involved in the region. The mission of the Bük, Bükfürdő Public Benefit Tourism Association is to map the existing card systems of the destination and to define the operational tasks necessary for this purpose, to develop guaranteed programmes covering the entire destination, to assess the local producers and the regional gastronomic culture. The task of Sopron-Fertő Tourism Development NZrt. is to put out the information boards, organise the information events of the project, prepare a family-friendly strategy, prepare regional offers, and adapt the thematic walks in the city of Sopron to the target group for children. The project provides an opportunity to widen the profile of the Sopron-Fertőkiemelt tourist area, to create a regional identity and to position the area typically sold in separate locations as a single destination. Another opportunity within the framework of the tender is the creation of the single Sopron and its area brand and image and the related targeted marketing activities, which will help to renew the entire information and communication system, which makes the destination identifiable on both the domestic and international markets, and provides a lasting and real promise of experience for both the returning guests and the new target markets. Overall, for the sustainable development of the Sopron-Fertő priority tourism area, for maintaining and strengthening the region’s revenue-generating capacity, it is essential to increase the competitiveness of the region, based on the activities defined in the operational development objectives of the project, and the achievement of which is an essential condition of the long-term and strategic goals.
