Participation in the OECD Adult Capability and Competence Assessment Programme (PIAAC)

Government Decree No 319/2014 on the National Office for Vocational Training and Adult Education (XII.13.) Government Decree (XII.13.) designated NSZFH as the State VET and Adult Training body. According to this, the NRPH performs the tasks assigned to the State VET and Adult Training body in the Law on VET, the contribution to vocational training and support for the development of training.The results contribute to determining the areas where the development of basic competences within the vocational and adult education system is carried out by the NSZH.The data obtained in the framework of the PIAAC survey can be derived from the data obtained in the framework of the PIAAC survey on the level of knowledge, the causes of acquisition and loss of skills of adults.The results contribute to the definition of the areas where the development of basic competences within the vocational and adult education system is required by the NRP. It allows the government, by processing the information obtained by the survey and evaluating the results, to take decisive strategic decisions and more effective, targeted measures in the fields of employment, vocational and adult education and public education.The majority of the research currently being conducted in Hungary is aimed at a specialist.The project is designed in the present project, based on a comprehensive, large-scale sample, internationally tested and quality-proof, specially developed for the purpose, we have not been able to launch a survey and research based on domestic budgetary resources, supported by IT support for database management, based on continuous international and domestic professional cooperation. Currently available EU funds can provide adequate funding background, the OECD’s preparatory work established the technical preparation and the current Hungarian political commitment to increase employment is strong. This together ensures the successful implementation of the project, the linking of the results, and allows, by processing the information obtained by the survey, the objective of the project is to support policies aimed at matching the skills, motivations of the labour force, the absorption capacity of the labour market, and to explore in detail good practices and labour market developments at national and international level.
