.VET can only partially serve the territorial economic needs, even though significant steps have been taken recently with the initiative of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MKIK) to establish a dual vocational training system. However, our training system is not based on labour market demand, but primarily on supply-based, leading to long-term uncompetitiveness. The Vocational Training 4.0 Strategy clearly states that "In order to strengthen the engagement of small and medium-sized enterprises, the administrative burden of dual training needs to be streamlined. Based on the existing workshops, infrastructure and equipment of vocational training centres, a system of Sectoral Training Centres based on the cooperation of SMEs should be established. The establishment of the Zalaegerszeg Vocational Training Centre for Tourism and Hospitality was generated by meeting these expectations. During the implementation of the project, the sectoral training centre will be set up in a fully delimited and detachable part of the building, within which a change of function will take place. The acquisition of new and modern kitchen equipment in line with the requirements of the 21st century — to be procured in the industrial training centre to be set up — will contribute to the development of a significant contribution to the supply of qualified staff to local hospitality companies and hotels. The Zalaegerszeg Vocational Training Centre project consists of 3 main activities: — infrastructure investment — equipment acquisition — training for the managers, employees and the trainers and staff of the vocational training centre. During the establishment of the GTC, it is important to create a corporate environment in accordance with the applicable legislation and the requirements of the NFCSO. 1. Infrastructure investment: Zalaegerszeg Vocational Training Center Keszthely Hospitality Technikum, Vocational Training School and College (8360 Keszthely Mártírok u. 1) is a sectoral centre for tourism and catering. During the refurbishment of the building part, its floor space does not change, but due to the change of function, the relocation of internal boundary walls, the replacement of electricity lines and the modernisation of the building section are realised, which forms the basis for meeting the demands of the industry 4.0, thus creating a 21st-century practice environment for students. 2. Purchase of equipment: The development of the technical background plays a key role in modernising production. In connection with the production process, machines and equipment suitable for carrying out modern, new kitchen technology processes are constantly appearing, which can significantly increase the efficiency of production. In order to ensure the industrial environment, it is essential to acquire modern tools, which will be implemented in the project, so they will be a tool of marketable knowledge during the training of confectionery and chefs. On this basis, it will also be possible to hold specialised trainings and workshops in the GTC, which will provide new knowledge for professionals already in the labour market, thus bringing the education system closer to businesses. Implementation site: Alaegerszeg Vocational Training Centre Keszthely Hospitality Technology, Vocational Training School and College, Zalaegerszeg Vocational Training Centre Báthory István Technikum 3. Providing training for managers, employees and trainers and staff of the VET centre, focusing on the following areas: Operation of a modern restaurant, Modern confectionery technologies and products, Entrepreneurship, farming and labour law skills The development would create a modern, dual training site meeting the needs of the market, which would provide the participants with real economic conditions and provide opportunities for students to get into the world of work as well as possible.
