Planning of Csepel Open Port capacity-enhancing infrastructure development phase II

Within the framework of the project, the planning works for the development of the Free Harbour, the related feasibility study and the preparation of land and investment are carried out as preparatory activities. The preparatory tasks for the development of the free port infrastructure include feasibility study, cost-benefit analysis, preparation of permit and tender plans, and the necessary area and investment preparation tasks (e.g. demunition, archaeology). The capacity-enhancing development of the free port of Csepel includes the next phase of the development process started with the previous KÖZOP project. This concerns a number of transport infrastructure elements within the port. However, this only involves the development of infrastructure within a fence. The developments to be processed in the preparation activity can be broken down into 4 types: 1 water side improvements • 1.1. Coastal protection of the south-east corner of commercial basin II • 1.2. Possibility of disembarkation from vessels at the south-east corner of commercial basin II, making transit tracks accessible • 1.3. Strengthening of the entrance and north side of the petroleum pool • 1.4. Necessary reinforcement and renovation of vertical port coasting walls, provision of accident-free barriers • 1.5. Restoration of the side of the Danube side of the slope 2 Railway network developments • 2.1. Refurbishment of yard tracks and port backbones • 2.2. Installation of rail bridge balance 3 Road network developments • 3.1. Refurbishment of the internal road network — capacity-enhancing development — “a” — Spark telegraph road surroundings • 3.2. Refurbishment of the internal road network — capacity-enhancing development — A — Development area • 3.3. Refurbishment of the internal road network — capacity-enhancing development — ‘b’ — Gabonatárházi út: repair of cobblestone covering, precipitation drainage, edging, pavement construction • 3.4.
