The basic objective of the project is to share knowledge on adaptation to climate change and to implement wide-ranging awareness-raising programmes. The planned project will help to adapt to climate change, promote risk prevention and management and create local social conditions for effective adaptation to climate change. Main activities planned: 1. The basic document of the project is the climate strategy, the development and implementation of which can only be successful with a broad partnership and effective communication. All other activities of the project are based on this. 2. Organisation and implementation of interactive thematic awareness-raising programmes: We are planning 4 major events in the spring period in a significant part of the 9th edition. Linked to the Erzsébetváros Green7 program series. His topics were still prominent in the district and partly appeared as a stand-alone event. They will now continue with new elements, with additional content for new events and other events. These are all attached to the environmental theme, the Sun of Earth at the same time. 3. Implementation of municipal awareness actions: Within the framework of this program point, we plan to appear primarily at family events (Family Children’s Day, Cycling Day), where the program is not specifically based on the environmental theme, but we offer together families in a playful form, in addition to other entertainment programs, awareness-raising environmental actions. In addition to interactive thematic awareness-raising programmes, creative and playful activities for children that are not independently supported and promote the importance of climate-consciousness will be implemented at these events. 4. Awareness-raising of local actors: The organisation and organisation of information sessions/workshops/forums for the institutions of Erzsébetváros (schools, kindergartens staff, Erzsébetváros Kft.) which can serve to shape and develop their climate-conscious approach and at the same time prepare them for the conduct of competitions. 5. Professional preparation and organisation of local study competitions: In the course of the activity we organise lectures, competitions and competitions in schools and districts. The most prepared teams of 5 per school get to the district climate protection competition, where they can compare their knowledge for prizes of value for themselves and their school. 6. Organisation and conduct of media campaigns: The activity involves media campaigns (giant posters, online advertisements, newspaper articles, etc.) related to thematic awareness-raising programmes and municipal awareness-raising actions. 7. Development and dissemination of publications aimed at raising awareness: Publications that convey knowledge of local local climate change prevention, mitigation and adaptation to local climate change are specialised in specific local target groups. 8. The development of an educational demonstration site, which can be built in an indoor space, is specifically linked to local climate protection. It presents land, water, air, climate-forming effects and sources of pollution in a comprehensive manner, complemented by data. Designed with a diameter of 1 meter, included with a stable structure rack. Its permanent location will be one of our eco-schools, but it will be presented in other schools as well. The total eligible cost of the project is HUF 20.000.000, the number of persons affected by passive access: 19.200 people, active access: 2,700 people. The results of the project will be preserved during the maintenance and we hope to be further developed. It is important that the environmental programmes already introduced and implemented in the district be continued, become part of the calendar of events, and it is also important to continue and deepen awareness-raising on local and general environmental problems. The project management organisation may be the District Development Office providing local urban development tasks within the Mayor’s Office, which is involved in the implementation of locally connected projects as a preparatory, complicator, project manager. The tasks can be performed by 1 project manager, 1 professional manager and 1 financial manager. They all have relevant experience in the preparation and implementation of projects.
