The project will involve the relocation of the Mosoni Danube estuary and the construction of a floodgate, together with related/additional investments. 1. The first task is to restore the small and medium water levels that have been subsided as a result of the sinking of the Danube, and to restore the supporting effect of the Danube. Restoring small and medium water levels will make it possible to rehabilitate •2 wetlands, • 3 rd nautical provision, • 4th improvement of the cityscape of Győr, • 5. Full compliance with the objectives of the projects on “Water management rehabilitation of the river Mosoni-Danube and Lajta” and on “Development of interspersible saved side and wavewater replacement system for ecological purposes”. Other objectives of the project are: • 6. by relocating the mouth of the Mosoni-Danube and the artifacts entering the estuary, partial exclusion of the floods of the Danube may occur (flood gate function) • 7. The transformation of Győr-Gönyű National Public Port into a swimming pool can be realised in the port project
