Development of the Industrial Park of Kiskunfélegyháza II.

By the end of 2016, in the Kiskunfélegyháza Industrial Park, there was practically no free, infrastructure-based industrial space available for sale to the companies. As a result, it is necessary to expand the municipal business infrastructure and services necessary for local economic development. The TOP-1.1,1-16 call for proposals is an opportunity to support the planned development, to which the development concept of Kiskunfélegyháza Municipality fully matches. In the framework of the project, the municipality has set the objective of implementing phase II of the Industrial Park of Kiskunfélegyháza. Once the project has been handed over, marketable, infrastructure-built free industrial areas will stimulate the job creation capacity of businesses and provide them with conditions to help them operate the local economy. The project will improve the competitiveness of businesses and increase employment in the region. The investment also concerns phase II of the existing Industrial Park of Kiskunfélegyháza, which will be developed in the framework of this project. The area affected by renovation in Phase I of the Industrial Park is 3.4268 ha. During the construction of 1 to 1 port buildings in Phases I and II, at least 30 % of the building’s roof structure will be capable of efficiently installing solar energy devices and at least 50 % of the thermal energy demand will be covered by renewable energy sources. Prior to the construction of the port, a preliminary planning survey was carried out for the buildings in phase I, which found that, due to their location, there was no building suitable for the port function at the planned entrance to the new Industrial Park I phase, so that only new construction could be considered. The greenfield industrial park in Phase II also does not have an existing building near the planned entrance, so naturally only new construction can be considered here. The industrial park phase II areas are classified as GKSZ (economic, commercial and service providers). Total area covered by the development: 30,2834 acres. On the basis of the call for proposals, the areas affected by the development must be industrial or special areas in the urban planning plan of the municipality concerned. Accordingly, the municipality initiates a change in the land use classification.
