Objectives of the project: • Expansion of the kitchen and cooking functions for catering, widening the range of meals to meet specific needs • Modernisation of existing kitchen utensils, extension of storage to organise more efficient cooking • Modernisation of school kitchens for heating and serving, implementation of smaller energy efficiency interventions • The central kitchen with the modernisation of the air exchange system ensuring air conditioning The following activities will be carried out in line with the above objectives as part of the project. The following investments are carried out in the serving kitchens of the Kazincbarcika school buildings operated by Barcika Príma Kft. and owned by the Municipality of Kazincbarcika. 3.1.1 B) Self-eligible activities b) Refurbishing, expanding, upgrading, refurbishing, refurbishing existing buildings, carrying out the necessary technical building projects The central kitchen building will be repaired, replaced if necessary (cold coverings, painting) and serves to provide higher quality service and comfort in central kitchens to ensure air conditioning, which offers more comfortable working conditions. C) Development and extension of infrastructure related to the preparation of kitchens and kitchens. In the kitchenettes of the buildings and in the mass catering spaces, there are repairs, replacement where necessary (cold coverings, painting) and modernisation of built-in furniture, food distribution surfaces, replacement/renovation of sanitary elements (e.g. sink, hand wash, etc.). More modern heat dispensing systems (equipment of new modern radiators and the use of energy-saving world pond systems) serve energy savings in the kitchen and dining rooms. The aim of the investments is to ensure that the serving kitchens meet the requirements of the NFCSO in all respects. The investments will take into account the comments made by the NFCSO on the proposed investments in previous years. 3.1.2 Optional activities that are not self-eligible (a) Acquisition of equipment essential for development, helping local products to enter the market or mass catering: Purchase of local heating and/or hot-keeping tools for serving meals, shelves for serving, as well as dishes and tableware. 3.1.3 Compulsory non-eligible activities c) Energy efficiency measures: energy-saving lighting, more modern heat take-off systems (radiators), and more energy efficient cooking equipment will be procured. d) Publicity: As part of the project, public insurance tasks will be carried out according to the regulations and expectations. The tasks related to the investment activities of the buildings are carried out by the 100 % owner of the buildings by the Municipality of Kazincbarcika, while the purchase of the equipment is carried out by Barcika primea Public Restaurant and Hospitality Ltd. as the public caterer operator. Furthermore, the licensee and construction plans required for the refurbishment of the serving kitchen are also prepared, in addition to the tasks of technical inspectors during the construction. The Consortium leader of Kazincbarcika Municipality performs project management tasks. Barcika primea Public Food and Hospitality Ltd. performs its public catering tasks primarily as part of a public service contract concluded with the Municipality of Kazincbarcika, but it also has an agreement with other educational institutions, managers and hospitals. The company cooks 4,000 to 4,200 servings per day in the central kitchen. Eligible cost category of the project: it is not State aid, in respect of which the rules on the calculation of the aid have been taken into account. As part of the project, there will be a minimum of 1 self-eligible activity: Refurbishment and extension of existing buildings and development of infrastructure related to the preparation of kitchens and kitchens. Barcika Príma Kft. strives to obtain the raw materials necessary for the operation of the kitchen from local producers. To this end, it has entered into an agreement with Barcika Park Kft. (presented in a business plan.) It seeks to purchase locally produced products, in this context it prioritises suppliers operating in the county during public procurement. The location of suppliers is presented in the business plan. The company orders the raw material necessary for cooking by means of a public procurement procedure in view of its high demand for raw materials, in which local producers in the surrounding area may be involved, as far as possible. Barcika Park Nonprofit Kft. is one of the fruit and vegetable producers on the site, and Barcika Príma Kft. purchases and uses the products produced by Barcika Príma Kft. at market prices on the basis of a sales demand.
