Infrastructure development of the small producers’ market in Kiskőrös

The Municipality of Kiskőrös has committed itself to developing the local economic environment in order to promote economic recovery and employment. In order to ensure the effective implementation of the project planned under this call, the municipality has set up a consortium of three members requesting funding. Stakeholder organisations committed to the project are: The Municipality of Kiskőrös (applicant for funding), Bács-Kiskun County Regional Development Nonprofit Kft (a 100 % owned enterprise of the Municipality of Bács-Kiskun County, member of the consortium) and Kiskőrösi Municipality Kommunal Szolgáltató Kft (a 100 % owned enterprise of the Municipality of Kiskőrös, consortium member). The project will be implemented in two separate implementation sites. One location is the area of the current small-scale production market in Kiskőrös (hrsz 2035/17), which is technically and infrastructurally outdated and outdated, while the other is a combination of the new market (2035/35, 2034/34/A, 2035/33, 2035/36 and 2035/34). The market for small producers in Kiskőrös is not possible in the current location. The existing small-scale market does not have a covered sales area, the number of outlets is small in size and cannot be expanded in the area. The square covering of the market is outdated, fragmented, unrepairable, and cleaning is not possible. The hall building in the market area serves only partially the functioning of the producer market, and its commercial function is not related to the needs of the small producers’ market. The area of the market is bounded by road from three sides, one side by building, therefore it is not possible to expand its area, therefore the modernisation and expansion of the market can be carried out in the unused commercial store next to the current small-scale market and in its surroundings. A needs assessment was carried out prior to the development of the new small-scale market and the planning of the functional expansion and layout. The indoor hall and the open sales area have been constructed accordingly. 1. Ensuring the operation of the small-scale market in winter — summer 2. Development and improvement of the individual sales points of the indoor market hall 3. Construction of the indoor market hall desk sales points, with the development of a transport system linking the points of sale 4. Accessibility of the indoor market hall, suitable toilet blocks, women’s-men’s-disabled toilets 5. Construction of the infrastructure necessary for the operation of the small-scale market 6. The construction of open and covered small market outlets, with space cover and utilities 7. Building of toilet blocks, women-men, disabled toilets related to the external sales points 8. Construction of a waste storage facility with the associated transport road, sized for the operation of the Small Market 9. Construction of a fence to protect the small-scale market with a gate for adequate personal and freight traffic 10. Solar panels will be installed during the energy modernisation of the covered market hall. A modern small-scale market will be created for the development of the planned functions, in line with the applicable standards, which will significantly help the local population and local producers’ commercial relations and improve equal opportunities for local small farmers The main dimensions of the interventions planned under the project are: — total dismantling of the existing market 1 360 m² — construction of 48 + 20 car parks — building of the existing hall/main building/full refurbishment of 8 large and 40 small reception areas, — 85 external sales outlets The project fits into the Bács-Kiskun County Regional Development Programme Economic and Employment Recovery priority and the objective defined therein: Development of an entrepreneurial environment, business development. The specific objective focuses on addressing the investment, training, vocational training and applied research needs of industry and agriculture, which is in line with the activities of development. There is a clear link to the objective of improving employment-enhancing services and infrastructure supporting the reconciliation of family and work responsibilities, as the project contributes to raising the employment rate to 75 %. The number of enterprises receiving non-financial support under the project exceeds five. According to Government Decree No 290/2014 (XI.26) on the classification of the beneficiary districts, the project is carried out in a “beneficiary” district, and Kiskőrös City is considered to be a municipality in Sandhátság pursuant to Chapter 4.2 of the Bács-Kiskun2020 ITP. The Municipality of Kiskőrös, as an applicant for support, declares that it undertakes to cooperate with both county and local district pact organisations during the implementation of the planned project. During the investment, a solar system is installed on the market building. Bács-Kiskun County Region...
