The present grant application relates to the allocation of “All eligible persons in the counties” in point B of the call. Its aim is to increase tourist traffic and income in Kazincbarcika and its surroundings, and to stimulate the creation of new jobs. Therefore, the municipality plans to implement a multifunctional demonstration space based on historical and cultural values in one of the symbolic sites of modern times.The former bunker building (1554,6nm floor area) will be upgraded, such mechanical equipment (e.g. ventilation), strong and weak electricity networks will be implemented in order to accommodate visitors and host attractions. In order to be able to visit, a new reception area is built for the two entrances of the bunker. Building A is 197,8nm, which includes buffet, cloakroom, sanitary facilities, mechanical rooms. Building B is 126,2 sqm,where there is a projection room. The bunker is a multifunctional space where several exhibitions can be held, adapted to the different target groups’ needs. During the operation, visitors and groups can choose between the programs on demand. The bunker would be a real ghost bunker that gives space for the presentation of ideas and ideas related to the creation of the bunker, as well as for curious visitors to see ghosts, creatures and objects hiding in the depths of the earth.The bunker’s programs address a number of target groups: school groups, families, young people, 16-30-year-olds, groups of friends, coming to a team building program. Cold War exhibition, bunker visit; introduction of contemporary disaster management tools, interactive presentation of the operation of building self-sustaining technical equipment (ventilation, lighting); Haunted tour (exploding hologram with ghosts, abandoned objects, skeletons, dark room for animals; light art programs (e.g. laser show, 3Ds presentation, shadow games); Community role-playing games based on historical backgrounds; screening room for contemporary films and visitor programmes in the bunker; occasional creative art workshop and exhibition space function. Each program can last at least 120 minutes. A visit to the bunker can be connected to the image of Kolorcity, such as light painting, interactive games, dressing up a cloak for the visit, or painting a mask, or creating your own billboard at the end of the visit. Guided tours and the use of interactive, integrated visitor management tools are provided for the presentation. During the exhibition we place great emphasis on the use of modern technologies, light, sound and other visual techniques operated by IT devices. The site of the development is owned by Borsodchem, but long-term utilisation of the area is ensured for the municipality. The bunker is usable, there are no static problems. Parking lots in public areas for the attraction will be available throughout the day. The attraction is available both in public transport and on a bicycle route. The bunker will be available all year round and will host a buffet with souvenirs. In connection with attractiveness, 4 events are organised each year (Night of Spirits, Disaster Protection Day, Fine Art Workshop, Light Art Day). two new animal sculptures will be placed in RudaPark, the exhibition of the Visual Library on the site will be expanded, the exhibition of the Aladár Aladár Mineral Museum of Földvár will be renewed, a visual warehouse will be created, it will be more attractive for visitors. As a result of the developments, more sustainable operation of the exhibition sites (e.g. self-supply water supply of the Visual Library, Mineral Museum)The number of visitors expected during the project by the end of the first full calendar year after the completion of the project: 20,000 people. Kazincbarcika’s tourist tax revenue in 2014 is HUF 4.04. During the maintenance period, municipalities undertake to use the state supplement of the IFA for tourism purposes (operation of information office and tourist attraction, area marketing, priority regional event). Municipalities undertake to set up a TDM organisation together with neighbouring settlements until the end of the project (NGM will initiate registration).In Kaszincbarcika there are several different categories of accommodations (in 2013 253 places, half of which are available for hotel accommodation) and catering facilities are available for the visitors. In 2014, the tourists spent 18.919 nights in Kazincbarcika. During the operation, the souvenirs are purchased from businesses in the area and from the Sajómenti Folk Art Association. We cooperate with partner organisations in marketing. Tourism experts have been involved in the development, implementation and maintenance of the professional content of the project.
