the aim of the project is to develop the street of Fény in Mátészalka into a competitive tourist attraction in order to diversify the region’s economy, stimulate the local economy and increase employment. As a result of these developments, tourists will be able to spend a longer period of time in the area and, in order to meet their needs, can provide tourist services (at the same time, the tourism services of private enterprises are not eligible under this measure) which contribute to the development of the region by creating jobs. B) The professional-technical content of the project, together with the presentation of the selected self-eligible and non-eligible activities A) The tourism development of significant cultural and heritage sites in the area a) Creating new attractiveness building on the cultural features of the region, development of existing ones — Construction, renovation, extension, exhibition and demonstration spaces, multifunctional premises related to the tourist utilisation and presentation of cultural heritage. — Creating the conditions for tourist reception, creating accommodation spaces, creating and expanding visitor-friendly functions, and creating the necessary service background for high-quality tourist reception. — Creation of complex tourism, information and visitor management services. — Technical developments, interactive presentation forms, which are elements of experience. — Creation and development of independent weather and specific supply (programme) elements of the target group. Optional activities that are not eligible independently (a) Acquisition of equipment related to the creation of a tourist attraction. B) Developing a competitive, innovative tourism theme based on the uniqueness of cultural attraction, creating the image of the resulting tourist product c) Themed playground, rest park, development of a thematic playground, rest park, as an additional element of an improved tourist attraction that can be visited free of charge by anyone.
