The aim of the tender is to develop the tourist attraction of the Zselici region in order to diversify the region’s economy, stimulate the local economy and increase employment. The following activities will be carried out under the project: 3.1.1 Self-eligible activities A) The tourist development of major cultural and heritage sites in the area a) Creating new attractiveness building on the cultural features of the region, developing existing ones — technical developments constituting elements of experience and creating interactive forms of presentation. In Ibafa, Arany J. u. 2, a new permanent exhibition on the history of smoking built on the collection of the Janus Pannonius Museum in Pécs and the bishopric of Pécs was planned. The memories of the history of smoking represent a significant cultural historical value. Most of the artifacts included in this area were made with artisanal technique, in many cases they are unique pieces and show an extraordinary variety. There are two very rich and valuable collections in Baranya County: it is owned by the Janus Pannonius Museum and the Bishop’s Department of Pécs. At present, the most beautiful and valuable pieces of both collections are concentrated in the most authentic location, Ibafa, no accident, since the iconic and uninical piece of the church collection, the “ibafa fapipe” is a legendary story that has become known throughout the country. In the course of this tender, we intend to create a modern, spectacular exhibition and installation to protect the artefacts and entertain the interested visitors instead of the traditional exhibition, which has been renovated in the framework of the Hungarian Village Program. In the framework of the tender, we plan to purchase technical tools (e.g. TV, QR code, IT tools) that can help visitors to get to know them, and we wish to diversify and enjoy the exhibition with interactive elements and animation. B) Ecotourism developments a) Ecotourism development of sites suitable for the presentation of natural values — Establishing environmental lookouts, resting places, creating the conditions for their infrastructure: The roof of the “Reef nest” next to Nagymáté, the highest point of the Zselic, with a height of 358.5 m above sea level. On this site, the planned lookout structure would be built with a 23 m top lookout level, providing a full panoramic view for the excursions. The main dimensions of the lookout tower are: 25 m high; floor size: 10*10 m. The clean structure model of the lookout building is based on the traditional design of the “mast racks”. The lookout is a seven-storey, multi-tree, double-timber structure, providing the necessary spatial rigidity, walking levels with supporting grids, and inclined streaked steps. Based on engineering experience, the construction with a volume of 2500 lm3 can be realised from approximately 70 m³ oak wood material. The tower is grounded with concrete dot bases. The connection between the structural elements of the tower tree is made with hidden Geka discs according to the Thonet principle, taking into account the meteorological conditions prevailing at the high point. The supporting structure frame will receive the wooden carvings of Győző Szatyor, a member of MMA, a wooden craftsman, with which we create a symbiosis of the supporting structure and folk traditions that meet the requirements of the age. 3.1.2.1. Mandatory non-eligible activities to be carried out on its own: a) Marketing activity: business marketing, promotion, production of publications related to the marketing of the developed tourist attraction e) Providing publicity 3.1.2.2. Optional, ineligible activities (a) Acquisition of equipment directly linked to the creation of a tourist attraction as defined in point 3.1.1 of the call: In connection with the pipe museum, the installation of the apron, reception and exhibition rooms, the purchase of air-conditioning and hood hoods is justified. d) Development of the immediate environment of the attractions: Planting, parking, information boards, resting places are planned in the immediate vicinity of the lookout
