The aid application concerns the indicative allocation for Jászság and Szolnok-Törökszentmiklós-Martfű, among the indicative allocations in the area-specific annex. The next stop of tourist development in Jászapát Municipality is the renovation of the former Perlaky house and its functionality. The building has been empty for years, for sale. In order to achieve the above objectives, the Municipality purchased it this year. After the renovation, the building would have a community function. The artisanal circles operating in the settlement would be given the opportunity to hold their professions here. One of the two employers would have an embroidery, lace and sewing workshop, and a wooden carving and modelling workshop in the other. During the day, the students of the settlement would have the opportunity to practice and master the above-mentioned craft activities, through this they can learn about the Jas motifs, shapes, ethnographic elements and the roots of their birthplace. An exhibition space would be set up in the room in the Rizalite of the building, where works of artisanal circles in the workplace would be presented, but the architectural and ethnographic exhibition presenting the history of the settlement would also be located here. The employer providing space for embroidery and sewing could be connected to this exhibition room. The increased room would allow performances, slide and film screenings, and larger exhibitions. There would be a “basket shop” in the building, referring to the past of the building. This room, as originally, could be accessed from the street. The shop would be furnished with contemporary furniture, equipment and elements that fit and be manufactured on the basis of these elements, presenting the products sold at the time. An important aspect of the business is to make it live, working. On this basis, the works of the workshops and other objects of the Jász folk arts could be purchased here for tourists visiting the city, who can, of course, see the exhibitions and try out the artisanal activities, through them the Jász folk motifs and design treasures. The technical condition of the building, which has been abandoned for years, has deteriorated. In the years since construction, the owners of the building expanded the house according to the needs of the family. Since they are not technically, historically or architecturally justified, these extensions will be demolished and the original traditional mass of the building restored. It would be demolished and rebuilt in the original form due to the undersised structural elements of the roof structure. The walls of the building are wet, so it is necessary to insulate the walls against soil moisture, which is complemented by the insulation of the floors against the ground floor. Due to the energy aspects, the exterior walls, slabs and floors of the building would be thermally insulated. Original doors and windows are refurbished, supplemented by thermal insulation in their wings and manufactured on the basis of existing ones. On the street facade, the old shop portals, which are still visible in photographs, would be restored. In addition to the functional alterations and the construction of sanitary blocks in the interior of the building, it is necessary to replace the coverings, make plaster repairs and paint. The current, very outdated, room-by-room heating system (electric stove, gas parapet, etc.) would be replaced by radiator heating using a closed gas boiler after modernisation. In order to ensure equal opportunities, access to the porch and to the premises of the building could be made on a ramp from the garden of the building. The building would have a barrier-free toilet and a washbasin. The area of the yard and the outbuilding are suitable for the construction of the necessary car parks and the possible loading area.
