Ecotourism developments in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County

Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County represents a significant tourist potential in natural values linked to extremely rich water. The aim of this project is to develop socially and environmentally sustainable ecotourism attractions in the region’s well-available and other attractive locations, taking advantage of the attractiveness of the water banks. Developments of primarily regional (regional) importance can lead to the expansion of the local economy and employment in the context of a well-founded needs assessment and predictable number of visitors from business planning and the expected increase in the number of accommodation nights. The common characteristics of each project element are that they are directed to the natural areas, contribute to the preservation of local values, minimise the negative environmental, social and cultural negative impacts of tourists and strengthen the positive effects: in accordance with these conditions, technical novelties and interactive presentation options are created in all cases. The characteristics to be developed are: Interactive fishing demonstration space on the outskirts of the village Leafek is a popular destination for bath tourism, and the attraction is built on an impressive location with reeds in the vicinity of the beach, which is a popular sport for the lovers of wetlands, but it also offers a pleasant relaxation for active fishing. In the course of the angling demonstration, a two-storey interactive demonstration space and habitat observation lookout tower will be presented, surrounded by a degradable lightweight facade portal. The portal is made with a reed fabric covering that fits the landscape. Due to mobility, its entrance can be installed on any side according to the current installation. The upstairs lookout was surrounded by reed-covered railing elements. The building is connected with a wooden promenade with a reed cover that fits the environment. Estuary lookout and promenade: From the Tisza estuary of the river Krasna river, we are preparing for the construction of the river section and the settlement of the floodplain and the embankments in order to make the river part suitable for navigation, to create a cultured environment. Port infrastructure will be built on the natural attractiveness of this environment, which will lead to tourism flows. Building on all these factors and aiming at a multiplicative effect on the left bank of the Tisza-Kraszna estuary, the development plans include the construction of a resting lookout and the promenade leading to it, which is also enriched with rests. Eco-CINEMA A tourist complex that brings visitors to completely unique and different thematic worlds. The venues are interactive, animators help to fully involve visitors in the experience. The attraction is an integral part of the surrounding natural environment, which in itself attracts visitors who would not otherwise be interested in ecotourism. Subordinated to this purpose, installations are created on the largest unit of development using only natural materials. In the area, nests, dens, cottages and imaginative recreation islands are formed. Resting islands can be reached through pathways in natural vegetation. Some elements of development (including: — Fairy Island: its flight system is the residence of a “unexplored forest community in Pan-Péter”, where groups, classes and family communities get acquainted with the laws and protection of nature by bringing the tale to life and within the framework of the employing programs. — Spike City: Connected to the traditions of Uncle Matula, he presents our natural water world in an active way. A group of piers and cabins cut into a reeded area is a holiday paradise for children: he teaches and trains playfully. Ecocentrum: The bell-water reservoir provides an opportunity for fishing and boating, so it is an excellent opportunity to spend your leisure time in a meaningful way. The Téka Camp was established in Harangod, where seven wooden buildings were built based on Dezső Ekler’s plans. The Ecocentrum fits into this environment. An interactive attraction designed in a building designed with an advanced ecological approach, which is unique in the region — aimed essentially at children’s groups and families — to showcase the county’s natural values, many of which are particularly protected and therefore not accessible to visitors. With unusual technical solutions, visitors can be part of an authentic near-nature experience, both in all seasons and in weather conditions, providing learning-teaching, learning-knowledge-knowledge, communication of attitudes and experiences and pleasure. The compatibility of the project proposal with the call — the eligibility criteria, technical-professional and financial compliance will be detailed in the Business Plan.
