The aim of the project, in accordance with the call, is to develop a thematic road called Hegyháti Green Road. This brings together the various cultural, built and natural heritage elements of part of the area, which are well connected from the point of view of tourism organisation. The project is to be implemented in the framework of the action entitled “c) Development of regional networks based on cultural attractions — thematic pathways, development of existing ones”. Out of the mandatory non-eligible activities to be carried out independently, we implement activities (a), (b), (d), (e) and (f), (f) would not be mandatory, but there will be charging possibilities for electric bicycles in Osko, point (c) is not relevant anywhere. Activities (a), (d), (e), (g), (h) and (j) of the optional, ineligible, ineligible activities are addressed in a specific location. The project has no foreseeable climate risk. Increasing the number of visitors increases the turnover of the current tourist service providers and the emergence of new ones, thus leading to the development of the economy. The improvements will make the sites more attractive and will strengthen each other’s presence in the tourism market through new connections. Cooperation thus already has a multiplier effect. In addition, due to increased marketing activity and the expansion of attractions, the number of viewers increases, which not only increases the revenues of the improved attractions, but also the turnover and revenues of additional service providers. This can also bring economic development in disadvantaged districts. The more pleasant environment and the wider opportunities (the expansion of the service sector) are able to start positive processes in society, thereby increasing the retention power of the Vasvár district population. During the development, one of the important buildings of Vasvár is the Colonel’s House for renovation and everyday use. A cyclist and pedestrian resting point will be created with sanitary and kitchen facilities; the place is also suitable for the operation of cafés and souvenir shops, exhibition and showrooms, community spaces and rest areas, creative workshops and offices. The next stage of the development of Mindszenty Memorial House will be realised in Czechimindszentszent, also in the form of a tourist reception centre. The creation of a relaxing and event area for tourists, with the possibility of sanitary facilities in a complex tourist reception centre. The new space also offers the possibility to dry herbs from which different products can be produced in the future. A solar panel system is also set up on site. In Petőmihályfa an event shield is being built, where tourists can relax in addition to participating in cultural events. In addition, a wine cellar will be rebuilt in which a busload of people can be seated in winter and bad weather, and the event barn can accommodate even more people. This way they can also cater for tourists all year round and organise events in the village, the vineyards, which are not very suitable in the area. On the mountain base of Hegypásztor Kör Oszkó, a tourist hostel will be built with the renovation of the Lábas barn, the Old cellar, the terrace in front of the shepherd’s accommodation and the Great Barn. Barns are an opportunity to hold events and relax even in case of worse weather. Bicycle storage is also being developed to better accommodate cyclists. Previously more weather-prone sites are being refurbished for seasonal extensions and larger indoor spaces are also designed to eliminate seasonality. In this context, it is possible to provide services that have not been possible so far, especially off-season. In addition, a demonstration space will be created in which, in addition to the traditional construction, the traditional local lifestyle is also observed. On site, the solar system will be extended and an e-bike charger will be installed. As can be seen from the descriptions, most of the developments contribute to the reduction of seasonality. The leader of the consortium is Vasvár, the project management activity will be carried out by the Hegypásztor Circle. The strategic partners of the project will be Szombathely Forestry Zrt., Vasi Hegyhát Local Government Association, the Csodaszarvas Tájpark and the Vasi Hegyhát-Rábamente Public Benefit Tourism Association. Target groups of the project: religious tourists, groups of children, families, cultural tourists, people looking for active recreation, those interested in the arts, those interested in gastronomy. The full investment will be based on the principles of environmental sustainability, the use of green modes will be encouraged and the use of green energy will be integrated (somewhere already). The environment is not burdened by the individual investment components. Based on the above, it can be said that the implementation of this project includes tourism developments that fill the gap in Vasvári Járá...
