By implementing this project, the Municipality of Sárospatak contributes to the improvement of the quality of the services provided by the institutions providing intraday placement for young children in order to promote the participation of women in the labour market, by supporting the placement of children under the age of 3 during the day. The building at Zrínyi Street 40, where the crèche is to be renovated, was built in the 1970s as a kindergarten. The kindergarten function was supplemented by a crèche. In the course of the last extension, the building was built on the floor and gained its current form, but the ground floor part of the crèche was omitted from the renovation, the development of the crèche function was not eligible in the previous project. One of the group rooms of the part of the building currently used as a crèche does not have a sanitary block, so it is limited to use and does not comply with the regulations of the administration (annexed to the supporting document). More optimal conditions for crèche use are provided by the part of the building consisting of 2 employing rooms, 2 sanitary facilities, transfer and changing rooms, with a closed front roof connection in the yard, and which has been renovated in the framework of the tender. The part of the building to be renovated is currently out of use, so the current crèche can operate continuously during the renovation. The newly constructed crèche rooms are separated from the common spaces by means of a new door installed in the corridor. An isolation room is constructed from an unused locker room. The part to be renovated will include a storage room and a staff toilet. New doors and windows with plastic structure will be installed instead of outdated wooden doors and two windows will be replaced by a new entrance door, which allows the covered terrace to be directly accessed from group rooms, which is also a professional requirement. Instead of the existing floor structure without thermal insulation, a new layer of flooring against heat and soil moisture is made. Following the dismantling of the panel in the employing room and the plastic panel in the dressing room, new coverings will be installed. Floor coverings are renewing everywhere. In addition to architectural renovation, water and sewage, as well as central heating lines and fittings need to be replaced. The refurbished part of the building thus provides the children’s changing room, transferor and 2 group rooms for the continuous arrival and departure of 24 children, with 2 bathrooms, which provide the possibility of healthy cleansing and care. In the building section, the floor space of the 2 group rooms will therefore comply with the standard per child. The current playground also needs to be renovated: the fence is refurbished so that the playground can connect directly to the exits. It is also necessary to build a rubber brick cover and a garden tap to ensure water intake. A new gym room will be installed in the currently used building section. As part of the project, the most important equipment of the refurbished crèche will be procured, as well as court toys and tools will be installed (included with a list of devices).
