Extension and renovation of the nursery in Kiskőrös

The aim of the project is to: Targeted support for investments in crèche institutions (infrastructure and asset development) in order to provide the necessary conditions for the creation of quality education. By supporting the development of institutions in municipalities with demographically growing or stagnating populations and the development of institutions with a high number of disadvantaged children, social cohesion, equal opportunities and the creation of a modern crèche in the region contribute to the region’s long-term competitiveness. With the planned development, primary care improves the comfort and working conditions of both users and workers. By developing crèches, increasing the capacity of municipalities to retain their population and the retention potential of young, skilled workers. The rational and cost-effective operation of public services based on local needs and settlement structures is currently in operation in Kiskőrös village, a local health, child welfare and social institution’s Bölcsődé (6200 Kiskőrös Árpád street 6.). There are currently 4 group crèches within the institution with 46 places. The capacity utilisation rate of the crèche in the 2018/2019 education year, even without taking into account rejected children, was currently 100 % and the number of children rejected due to lack of seats was around 17 in 2018. The number of 0-3 year olds living in Kiskőrös and its immediate surroundings is high, and another crèche in the city is not functioning so far, so there is a significant demand for the service in Árpád út. During the planned investment, a crèche building built in the 1970s will be refurbished and upgraded. The institution has reached the limits of its capacity as it currently stands, but parents have a great need to accommodate more children, so by remodeling the existing service spaces, new group rooms will be created with the corresponding transfer and sanitary facilities. The group room is designed in such a way that two mini-groups can be created with a mobile wall. The current kitchen block replaces the boiler room with the barrier-free sanitary block in the kitchenette. The installation of the other service spaces will be arranged by building the floor on the building, where only functions for the operation of the Cradle are placed, and young children are not allowed to come up here. To ensure this, a safety railing is provided in front of the stairs. The project includes the complex accessibility of the project, the construction of a social block in accordance with the regulations, the replacement of external doors and enclosures, as well as the modernisation of heating. Technical-professional content: Self-eligible activity — Existing crèche — extension of at least one group room in the case of a mini crèche — 2) refurbishment of an existing building/room, 3) extension of an existing building/room. Mandatory activity — Providing publicity, Energy efficiency measures, Accessibility. Optional activity — not relevant. Rehab.engineer’s involvement is fulfilled during the preparation and is also involved in the implementation. The mega.dok. and annexes of the development are attached. The project promoter shall comply with the environmental and equal opportunities legislation applicable to the project in the area affected by the project and shall preserve the protected natural and cultural values, the environmental damage or the environmental damage caused by the project and the non-compliance with the legislation in respect of equal opportunities shall be eliminated at the latest by the Principal. The developer shall express a sense of opportunity in the public events, communication and behaviour related to the development: does not mediate segregation, reduces existing prejudices for groups. In the case of infrastructure developments, when designing transport connections, facilities and space use, the applicant takes into account and enforces the principles of universal design, i.e. the needs of women and men, the needs of the elderly, the disabled and children, and shows how. When constructing/renovating a building/part of a building that performs community functions and/or manages customer flows and/or works on a permanent basis, the developer shall use proportionate accessibility to the project. A barrier-free toilet is installed. The planned investment will contribute to the return of parents with children to the labour market, thereby increasing employment through the development of crèche care.
