The Municipality of Mohács has set the development goals to be achieved by 2023 in the integrated urban development strategy, in line with the urban development concept and the Eu.2020 strategy. In order to achieve the vision and overall goals set in the strategy, 8 medium-term urban-level thematic objectives have been set. These objectives include improving the conditions for sustainable transport, increasing the number of alternative modes of transport, cyclists and pedestrians. The city of Mohács won the title “Biékpáros Friendly Town 2015”. On the one hand, the aim of the project is to improve the conditions for sustainable, cycling-friendly transport through the construction of a cycle path between the part of the municipality and the residential part of the settlement accessible outside the urban area, as well as the workplaces located outside the urban area and the inner part of the municipality. On the other hand, the road safety rebuilding of the accident-threatening junction on the crossing section of highway 56. The development of the road safety activity is established on a state-owned road, therefore the Transport Development Coordination Centre required the Magyar Közút NZrt. Consortium partner. The project covered by this project concerns several implementation sites that are not physically linked to each other. The development of the city’s cycle path network is carried out in two independent areas in the NW part of the town and in the industrial area. In the ÉNY part of Mohács, situated 5 km from the center, along road 56, it is an inhabited part of the village that is accessible outside Mohács. for this reason, it is not safe to travel by bicycle or on foot. Therefore, the people living there, in order to enter the city, use private car and public transport more often. In the framework of this project, the 1 440 m (estimated) long bicycle road at Szőlőhegy would connect the cycle path between Pécsi út-5607 road, passing through road 56 with a signal lamp junction, the development would fill the missing section, which, on the one hand, ensures safe, comfortable transport conditions for all road users and contributes to the improvement of the transport conditions of sustainable modes of transport. On the other hand, it facilitates the networking of the already completed cycle paths in Mohács. On both sides of the cycle path a bench is created, and alternately along the track, a ditch is built on one side, which ensures the drainage of rainwater. The residential areas are dispersed, as well as the location of significant cultivated areas (grapes, small gardens) and taking into account the road safety aspects, it is appropriate to build a passway on road 56, which ensures safe traffic conditions for all road users. During construction, the signal lantern node (road 56) must be built, due to the safe passage of cycling, in addition to the construction of the public utilities and the installation of the public utilities. The number of enterprises located along the trail is not significant(see map breast.), while the signal lantern junction (road 56) is located at the end of the trail, which is located at the end of the trail is the Szőlőhegy nursery, medical practice. As a result of the development, the enterprises and business companies operating in the vicinity of the cycle path (see map annex) can be easily reached safely and safely, therefore significant staff turnover is expected in the Szőlőhegy, Ill. from the direction of the city.Easier access to workplaces creates opportunities, as well as an attractive effect on jobseekers, which promotes job creation in a positive direction. The project can have an indirect impact on tourism and the economy, as the cycling network between the city centre and the part of the settlement is complete, so tourists arriving in the city can safely travel by bicycle (bicycle rental) from the city to the vineyard, where you can see the tourist attractions, the open cellars. Furthermore, the bicycle-friendly development that will be realised would be connected to the Eurovelo 6 network in the future. The plans for the planned cycle path have been completed due to the submission of an earlier application, which must be reviewed in accordance with this tender. During the implementation of the project, the construction of the other walking and cycling path would be carried out in the industrial area, until the processing plant is under construction (in the near future it is expected to employ 570 people, in two-shift work schedules). The cycling-friendly development would connect the cycle path between Pécsi út — 5607 road with the open bicycle lane completed in the industrial area in 2014.The estimated length of the unseparated footpath and cycle path is 456 m, with two sides of which a border and a bench are installed.Infrastructural works (drain drainage) are also linked to the installation’s core implementation.
