The project is linked to the “Framework available to all eligible persons in the county” on the basis of the funding allocated to the territorial actor development objective. The objectives of the development are: Improving access to workplaces, public institutions, commercial facilities; Building missing sections of the urban cycling network for safe cycling along urban roads with higher traffic;Developing the cycling transport link towards neighbouring municipalities (Tardona and Sajóivánka) and the regional cycling network. To this end, we plan to further develop the cycling network, such as the development of a cycling-friendly settlement in the downtown and the Kertváros-Herbolya district. The planned development is intrinsically linked to the existing cycle paths. Connection to the urban network is ensured: along the downtown roadway, and between downtown and BorsodChem: Good luck-Irinyi route; Route of Mátyás k.; The route of Herbolyai; Builders’ Road — Tardona Road Route. There is currently a 7.17 km long cycle path in the city, 187 bicycle supports, 1 indoor bicycle storage and 7 information boards have been built. The development has further links with neighbouring settlements in the Grand Area of Road 26 towards Sajóivánka, Sajókaza, Vadna, and Tardona. Planned activities: Construction of a new bicycle road between Attila u. Építők u. and Tesco roundabout 700 m hosszan:Kétoldali on the Alsóvárosi krt and the Bicycle Route separated by two sides, one-way on foot and cycling. At the starting point, the new facility can be connected to the walking and cycling path on the side of Good Lucky Road. On the starting stage, the planned new facility would also start on foot and as a bicycle path without separation from the Builder Road on the side of the Lower Town krt. d. The section runs to a pedestrian crossing in front of the Apostle St John and the Evangelist church. Given the considerable footfall on this short stretch, it is recommended to build the new road at a width of 4 m. In the vicinity of the pedestrian crossing, the one-sided walking and cycling path would be separated. Pedestrian traffic would be complicated on existing sidewalks. We would take the cyclists on the two-sided high-speed bike lane separated from the existing wide track, with a width of 1 m, separated from the road by K border. The featured bicycle lane runs on the right side to the pedestrian crossing along the staircase linking Spring Street and Alsóvárosi krt, from which the right side would be a separate one-way bike path and a one-lane pedestrian path with a width of 2 m, while on the left we would take the highlighted bicycle lane to the pedestrian crossing area at the beginning of Attila road, there we would lead there as a separate one-way bike path and a single lane walkway, just like the right side. The two-sided one-way bike and footpath would lead to Attila Road to the circular junction of the Tesco department store, where we could ensure the availability of the supermarket and the industrial park by cyclists in addition to the existing pedestrian passages. In order to allow pedestrians to pass without hindrance, at the 2pcs of the Alsóvárosi körút and the 3 designated pedestrian crossing points in Attila út roundabout, the edges should be lowered to the level of the pavement with a height of 0-2 cm. Tactile cladding marks are installed on the pavement at the crossings. Development of a new cycle path on Pollack M. Road between Egressy and Mátyás k. road at 500 m length: Pollack M. road construction of two-sided, one-way walking and cycling journeys separated from each other. On the basis of the traffic count, cyclists are able to travel safely separated from road traffic, and this can be done on the most cost-effectively on-site walking and cycle paths designed by widening the pavements. The pavements are constructed for pedestrians on both sides 2 m in width by re-asphalting the existing pavement. The one-way cycle path of 1 m width, which is formed by widening the existing sidewalks on both sides of the road, connected to the existing cycle path on Mátyás k. road, is connected to this K border. In order to allow pedestrians and cyclists to pass seamlessly, at the 3 designated pedestrian crossing points on Pollack M. road, the edges shall be lowered to the level of the pavement with a height of 0-2 cm. Tactile cladding marks are installed on the pavement at the crossings. According to Figure 6.1 of the Road Traffic Specification 2-1,203 (e-ÚT 03.04.11.) on the separation of road and cycling traffic, in addition to the conditions prevailing on Tardona Road, the separation of road and cycling transport is required. On the other hand, the size of pedestrian and cyclist traffic does not justify the separation of pedestrian and cycling traffic, so it is possible to build a common path for walking and cycling. The pavement of the road is in medium condition, with asphalt track structure and an average width of 6 m. ...
