Among the specific development objectives set out in point 1.2 of the Area-specific Annex to the Call, our grant application aims at the availability of county district centres and the source of the envelope for the development of environmentally friendly transport modes. the objective of the project: The aim of our project is to implement a transport development measure that creates and strengthens the conditions for sustainable transport, which contributes to climate change mitigation, the reduction of CO2 emissions, the development of a liveable urban and municipal environment and the achievement of the EU2020 and the National Transport Infrastructure Development Strategy’s goals for sustainable development and transport. B) the technical and technical content of the project, together with a description of the scope of the selected activities that are eligible independently and cannot be independently supported The technical and technical content of the project: Section of the route covered by this tender: — Mátészalka, Dózsa György u. — Mátészalka Jármi u. (along the main road 49, connecting existing bicycle paths) — Mátészalka, Dózsa György u. — Mátészalka, Zöldfa u. (from the junction of the main road 49 and the main road no. 471 to the junction of the main road no. 471 — Zöldfa u., A) A) Cycling-friendly development • Bicycle route B) traffic reduction, road safety, accessibility • Road safety investment D) Related activity group • Modification and development of nodes and/or crossings in order to improve transport safety, prioritisation and unobstructed passage of sustainable transport modes, which are not self-eligible and are mandatory • Provide publicity. • The implementation of an awareness-raising campaign for the promotion of bicycle transport and road safety as part of the project c) Compliance with the conditions set out in point 3.2 of the call for proposals The project has been designated in accordance with the requirements of point 3.2 of the call for proposals regarding the technical and professional content of the project and its implementation, and will then be planned and implemented in this way. Taking these into account, our project aims to make Mátészalka City cycling friendly, and a cycling route is established along the entire crossing section of the national road. It thus contributes to the objectives of the call in several ways: on the one hand, it allows people living in and coming from neighbouring settlements to use an environmentally friendly form of transport by building a cycle path — it seeks to make the use of bicycles more comfortable and safe, and by means of awareness-raising actions to encourage people and those working in neighbouring municipalities to prioritise sustainable modes of transport. Thus, within the framework of the project, transport development measures that create and strengthen the conditions for sustainable transport can be implemented in our municipality, directly (Kocsord, Jármi, Nyírcsaholy) and between the municipalities indirectly affected, which contribute to the mitigation of climate change, the reduction of CO2 emissions and the creation of a viable urban and urban environment. The investment is implemented through direct economic development and employment links and facilitates the infrastructural conditions for labour mobility, as a section of the cycle path connects the area of one of the city’s major economic zones (Jármi út) with the residential areas, thus enabling bicycle access to the facilities operating there. 2. The project contributes to the achievement of the OP indicator “Length of established bicycle traffic facilities” by committing a target, and 6.36 km of cycle paths will be built on the planned route. 3. The project includes cycling-friendly activities. Its main activity comes from activity A. 4. The development concept contributes realistically to the OP indicator ‘Length of established bicycle traffic facilities’, as 6.36 km of cycle paths are being built on the planned route. 5. The project intends to implement the activities listed in point 3.1 Eligible activities of the call, as listed in point A(c). 6. The project complies with the criteria and conditions listed in point 3.2 The technical and professional content and implementation requirements of the call, which are relevant to the content of the investment, were examined during the preparation and the route was prepared accordingly. 7. As an annex to the application, we have attached a schematic, map-based overview or route plan illustrating the area of the investment in point 3.2(a19) of the call.
