Municipality of Kiskunfélegyháza" Complex settlement program Kiskunfélegyháza Town Alpári út 1. With the support of the European Social Fund, the European Social Fund implemented a two-year project, which ended on 31 October 2015, in order to bring people living in extreme poverty into society and integrate them into society. During the project, social, community, health, training and employment areas were implemented in a complementary and supportive way, promoting social convergence of people living in settlement-like environments. In the course of the project, on the ground floor of Alpári út 1/B, a space with the name “Csillag Service Point” was created on the ground floor of the building with 2 vacant local government apartments. On the floor, using its own resources, the municipality has established an office for the Roma Nationality Municipality in our city. Building on the experience gained during the project and learning from the shortcomings and public feedback, the Municipality of Kiskunfélegyháza “New Star is born” — Complex environmental and health promotion programme in Kiskunfélegyháza submitted a grant application for the TOP-5.2.1-15 call for proposals, which started on 01.08.2017. Within the framework of the project, he started implementing complex developments in order to catch up with segregation and the people living there. At the same time, in the framework of the project TOP-4.3.1-15-BK1-2016-00001 “Kiskunfélegyháza-Bankfalu will be rebuilt” which includes infrastructure investments, the renovation of 8 social housing units in the segregation, the purchase and renovation of 2 social rental apartments in an integrated living environment and the creation of an open community space: the renovation of an abandoned sports field into a residential sports and leisure park, the construction of a service home and public safety improvements have been planned. In the second phase, the renovation of the 8 social housing units was planned in the segregation with related infrastructure developments. The activities of the project were defined by incorporating the experience of the developments in the first phase, helping to improve the housing conditions and social convergence of those living in a settlement-like environment. The aim of the project is to help people living in extreme poverty to catch up, in line with the local equal opportunities plan.
