Together for each other in Kiskunhalason 2

The Municipality of Kiskunhalas wishes to submit the tender titled “Together for each other Kiskunhalason 2” in a consortium with the Social Service Centre of the Halasi Multipurpose Minor Regional Association for the call for “Complex programs at local level to strengthen social cooperation”. The overall objective of the project is to: Ensure better living opportunities and individual and community integration of the population of Kiskunhalas in the project’s target area. 4 specific objectives contribute to achieving this overarching objective, namely: 1. Strengthening social cooperation through community development, strengthening social inclusion and extending individual community social services 2. Creating the conditions for a healthy life by strengthening health awareness and ensuring access to services 3. Raising the standard of living of disadvantaged families by improving employability 4. Preventing and overcoming factors specific to social groups in childhood and early childhood, especially those of the social groups, B) PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS One of the main aspects of the preparation of the application is to ensure that the selected activities are as tailored as possible to the needs of the target group, helping to improve their quality of life and promote their social integration. Accordingly, the programmes cover a wide range of optional activities that can be implemented under the call, which are eligible independently and cannot be independently supported. Self-eligible activities: 3.1.1 A) Cooperation with a view to creating the conditions for social integration at community and individual level a) Community development programmes This application contains a number of programmes aimed at community development, such as Children’s Day, Cleanness Competition, Harvest. These programmes strengthen the cohesiveness of the population of the action area and help to exploit the potential of a strong community both in the implementation of other programmes of the application and in the case of other interventions. d) programmes accepting the planned developments The experience shows that the success of software development depends largely on the extent to which the members of the target group are involved in the programmes. They prefer to take ownership of the development if they have more information and can even shape it with their opinions. The Nationality Day provides an opportunity to communicate the objectives, activities and results of the project to the target group. B) Creating continuous social work The Call 3.1.1. In accordance with point B, social workers help people living in segregation during the entire implementation of the project. Social professionals help to map the problems of the target group, prepare and implement individual development plans with continuous review. 37 out of the population aged 16 to 54 living in segregation every 3 months of discussion and counselling along the preparation of the individual development plan, as follows: • To assess the needs and status of the target group, to what extent they possess the necessary basic skills such as writing, comprehensible reading, basic mathematical knowledge, basic social knowledge, administration, lifestyle. • Encouraging participants to achieve higher qualifications and lack of basic competences. • Assessment and recognition of individual non-formal competences. F) Improving access to services c) logistical and communication support for access to public services (organisation, facilitation of access to the site, coordination, etc.). The needs assessment showed that the population of the action area faces difficulties in gaining access to public services that are otherwise available free of charge. The services of the existing street trust network in Kiskunhalason will be extended in order to overcome logistical and communication barriers and create smooth administration. Optional activities that are not eligible on their own: a) Acquisition of equipment required for the implementation of the above programmes (C) REFERRED TO IN POINT 3.2 OF THE INFORMATION Kiskunhalas, as a district seat city, has an Integrated Urban Development Strategy and the Antisegregation Programme adopted together with the project.
