The aim of the project is to develop the historical Avas complex tourism at present in Miskolc there are two adventure promises with independent travel motivation, Miskolctapolca and Lillafüred. The city centre and individual attractions appear as an independent attraction in the tourist offer palette only through specific events (e.g. Kocsonyafarsang, Avasi Borangzás, Bartók+ Opera Festival, etc.). The city’s destination development strategy by 2020 sets itself the objective of making Miskolc an attractive metropolitan destination at European level. This requires the emergence of new attractions that significantly increase this metropolitan attractiveness, contributing significantly to the increase in residence time, while offering business opportunities for local SMEs. The present attractiveness development covers both topographically and historically the so-called historical Avas area, revitalising the centuries-old traditions in such a way as to amplify the diversity of different periods and structures, while at the same time finding their related values. The resulting attraction consists of a number of elements that are organically built on each other and complement each other, with a diverse range of services and catering services for SMEs with a minimum of half-day, but rather a full-day programme for tourists. The basic elements of the development are as follows: Developing the Lookout and its surroundings into a “high tech” experience center Using the surfaces of open terraces and enclosed space in the lookout tower, creating a high tech experience space with urban history themes, creating a “time machine” where the tools of augmented and virtual reality allow the different eras of the city to be projected to the existing landscape and viewing with unique technical solutions. In addition, as an interpretation game, the presentation of various old and modern telecommunications systems. The contrast of the historical landscape and architecture must be strengthened to the maximum, and this contrast, as an emotional impulse, determines the uniqueness and market positionability of the attraction. To do this, it is necessary to renew the entire surface of the viewing terraces. All surfaces are treated as attraction elements, e.g. sensory solutions can be built into the walking surfaces of terraces, which treat specific parts of the terrace as touch screens, project animations on the lower surfaces of the terraces with high-performance 3D projectors, break free viewing terraces with sections made of plexy, which are transparent, open view, but with the help of a surface treatment can become projection superimposed, etc. (Source of which is the minimum interpretation cost of 10 % to be used in the project). The uniqueness of the attraction is determined at the same time by the architectural features of the lookout at the same time during the night as well as by the interactive content, and therefore architectural solutions that give the building a special character in daylight must be used. We recommend the installation of a panorama lift, which also ensures unobstructed access to the levels of the building, and the attraction element itself, the elevator and the lookout tower are made more interesting by a completely transparent glass corridor (however, if necessary, it can be darkened). Technological solutions for development strengthen the economic position of the settlement: the image of a high-tech industrial city with high added value. Cellar — literary, cultural experience: as a contrast of modernity and innovative technological solutions, the Avas Pilgrimage Association brings the values of the past to the present with traditional means. Thanks to the infrastructural development of the association, new exhibition spaces are created, which, as a living museum, evoke the Avas civil milieu of the late 19th century, the beginning of the 20th century. To this end, new exhibition spaces can be created alongside the current Wine Museum. The showground presents Miskolc as a city symbol by focusing on literary and cultural historical monuments. Literary works, through the Avas (miskolc) images and stories of famous Hungarian writers and poets in Miskolc. Lőrinc Szabó, Zsigmond Móricz, Ferenc Móra, Csaba Sassy, Győző Balázs, József Tompa Mihály Lévay present the Avas. The development carried out shall aim at: — The creation of functional interiors evoking the civil atmosphere of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy and the two world wars with powerful mood effects, revitalised and personalised stories — (animated) programmes based on local historical and literary research, the regular organisation of wine and gastro occasions Reformed church — a witness of the centuries-old past The project element to be implemented by the Reformed parish will show the history of Avas century from the perspective of architectural history and religious history, the Reformed church built in the 13rd century as a sacral space, s...
