For the continuous development of the industrial area of Győr, it is essential to ensure the accessibility of the development areas, to establish the right road, pedestrian and cycling connection and to integrate it with the existing transport network of the industrial park and the city. The aim of the planned investment is to achieve transport development that promotes economic development and labour mobility. Since low-quality infrastructure hinders the implementation of economic development at the right pace, it is of utmost importance for Győr’s economic development to ensure the proper quality of the road infrastructure, which is also the priority objective of the project. The direct aim of the project is to renovate Győr-Reptéri road on the section between Martin Street — Hűtőház út. According to the current condition, the pavement is heavily worn, the lorry parked on the pavement is used, and there is no solution for walking and cycling on the road section. This planning phase is a continuation of the first renovation of the Airport Road. In the course of the investment, a bicycle path is established in a uniform concept, but with separate and timely construction, from TOP-6.4.1-16, which also ensures the safe provision of pedestrian traffic in the area, thus ensuring better use of other modes of transport. During the preparation and implementation of the investment, special attention will be paid to the aspects of public transport, the provision of parking facilities in public areas and the establishment of modern hubs. Bus bays will be created instead of the current bus stop, providing adequate pedestrian access. Next to the refurbished track, drainage is made with dripping system and closed rainwater. On the refurbished track it is necessary to prepare traffic paints, and to mark the waiting areas of the established stop lanes with paint. There is only a minimal need for public utility changes in the area. The public lighting is currently in place, only due to the change in the route, it is necessary to relocate and upgrade the public lighting poles. In view of the fact that parking spaces on the section concerned are for lorries, it is not envisaged to build an electric car charging capacity. Based on the Internet database of the Nature Conservation Information System (http://geo.kvvm.hu/tir/viewer.htm), the planning area is not affected by landscape and nature conservation aspects.
